PS/2 mouses still useful - exclusive
Purchased this recently due to compatibility issues in a corporate environment with USB mouse (and keyboard, also replaced with PS/2 equivalent) and modern docking station (which has PS/2 ports), and am very happy with this. The mouse is of reasonable size (not like some shrinking mouses from Microsoft, Logitech etc), the buttons are always responsive and the sensitivity is very good.Having this and the PS/2 keyboard also means I now have two spare USB ports for any other peripherals I need to plug in, so it is worth considering if you are running out of ports and would like a dependable way of freeing some up (I'm not a fan of external USB hubs due to the extra mess of wiring this can create, and the general unreliability of hubs I have used in the past).

Does the job
It's quite obviously not a gaming mouse as the other review seems to suggest, just a simple three button mouse, very accurate so long as you set it up to be and does the job. The USB version has a few issues with software after a few months of use but this version is fine.

Feels insubstantial and a little flimsy, but it does the job perfectly adequately and is very cheap. Tremendous value - and saves waste of a USB port (also, my XP computer didn't want to boot normally with a USB mouse plugged in before startup and this was therefore a perfect solution).

Optical mouse
A basic ps/2 mouse with scroll wheel, but comfortable enough to use and mouse pointer sensitivity is just right for me, can move about the whole screen with just wrist movement and still accurate, on standard windows settings.

Standard
Got this mouse free with the PC i bought in 2007. Its ok as a standard mouse but if your looking for fancy stuff like programable buttons or lights or gaming capabilities then look elseware.
