Missy 20" 24" 26" inch Girl Cruiser 6-Speed Hybrid City Bicycle for Youth Over 6 Years Old with Wicker Basket & Lightweight, Multiple Colors

We purchased the 20" Missy for our daughter, who is seven years old and 51" tall. We had considered going with the next size up but decided against it. It was a good choice because we had to put the seat on this bike into its lowest position.The bike seems very well made. However, it's more difficult to assemble than advertised. A few items (e.g., the front brakes and the rear gears cassette) needed some fine-tuning adjustments. I would guess that some of the complaints from other reviewers (e.g., slipping gears) are related to not making these adjustments. If you are familiar with bikes, these items will be pretty straightforward. If you're unfamiliar with bikes and don't enjoy the assembly process for toys and other new things for your child, you should follow the advice on the box itself and take it to a local bike mechanic for assembly.Overall, the bike is the same quality as much more expensive bikes that we looked at in local bike shops. As you can see from the pictures, it has a great "look," and our daughter liked it when we surprised her with it. The basket was a hit. We appreciate her stepping up to hand brakes and a bike with multiple gears.We are pleased with this purchase and recommend it to other parents looking for a nice bike for their child.

Bought as a gift for my sister and while it did take assembly it was a quick and easy build. It looks great in person and ran into no issues when using (other than user error)

Received this bike about a week ago. It only took me about 20 minutes or less to assemble. The bike arrived with no dings or scratches. It was for my daughter’s 10th birthday present and she absolutely loves it. The bike is very sturdy and well put together. She told me the bike is very comfortable and easy to ride. They color was what she wanted, and she is excited to get on it every day. So far no issues with the bike, as stated this bike is very well put together. I would have like to of seen less plastic pieces. But, for the price you can’t beat it.

Missing one axle nut

I bought the purple, 24" with rack for my daughter. It looked small as I assembled it, so I measured the tires, and their diameter is 23" - so it is falsely advertised. (I hope this doesn't mean that if a rubber tire gets damaged, it will be difficult to find a replacement - odd sizes are problematic in that way.)It is actually a very cute bike, and arrived without damage. One washer for the rear rack was missing, but that was the only hitch in assembly. The packaging was nicely done.I'm feeling nervous about the quality. The chain was off when we took it out to test it, after we fixed that, my daughter was riding it up and down the sidewalk and it made shifting sounds even though she told me that she wasn't turning the gear shift dial. So I tried it myself, and the chain was definitely jumping gears on its own even though I was not shifting.Considering how expensive it was, I'm feeling reluctant to recommend it. There was an awful lot of packing material on it (probably why it arrived looking in excellent shape) and it would be extremely difficult to re-pack to return. There is a bike shop in town, and taking it there to see if they can fix the shift problems is an option, but I feel reluctant to invest more money it it too. For the price, it shouldn't be jumping gears and losing the chain.

All the right parts were in the box that arrived mostly intact - two small punch holes in the cardboard box and no damage at all. It was easy to assemble and adjust and the paint job, purple, is great. After reading some earlier reviews, I was a bit apprehensive about this product. But not anymore - I'm pleased with the quality and price of this bike

I was surprised what you get for the price. Assembly was straightforward and took about 25 minutes. My daughter really likes it. I'll see how it goes.UPDATE (9/30/24): The best word to describe this bike is RUST. Everything is or has rusted on this bike. On top of that the tires are showing signs of cracking and discoloration. The brake and gear shift cables are not of good quality as they keep stretching. The brake pads are cheap and wear out quickly. Keep in mind this bike was purchased in Dec of 2023 and stayed in the garage out of elements until March when it was first being ridden. This bike has been garage kept. Disappointing as it should last longer than 7 months. After closer inspection, the metal and parts are cheap. This bike most likely costs around $47 to produce.Having said all that it does look great when you first get it but keep in mind that image will fade fast. There are so many parts to replace and time to fix them, that the smarter option is to buy a different brand bike. I cannot recommend this bike.

It’s a beautiful bike, but it’s missing screws and the paint is chipped, so it’s a fairly frustrating experience.

Instructions quasi inexistantes, pas facile à monter, qualité ordinaire. Je dois aller le faire ajuster chez un spécialiste avant l'usage. Je ne rachèterai pas de vélo sur Amazon.

The media could not be loaded. Received the bike and assembled. The front wheel is so bent we can have the front brakes attached. The box it came it wasn’t damaged so I’m not sure how this front wheel got bent. Hopefully the manufacturer will send us a new front wheel.
