3/8" Drive 17.5 Inch Breaker Bar, Heavy Duty Head, Premium Chromium-Molybdenum Steel, Laser Etched Marking, for Grip and Break Loose Tight Bolts, Nuts

I bought this breaker bar to do a job on my Jeep replacing ball joints. What is usually a 3-4 hour job turned into 2 days of absolute torture with 2 of the 4 ball joints frozen. This breaker bar was hands down the most critical tool I couldn’t do without, and there were times I didn’t think it could withstand the torque I was applying to bust or tighten multiple things without breaking it, but this tool took the torture. I am not some weak sissy boy, I rip iron at the gym 5 days a week and when I tell you I was applying some brute torque to this breaker bar, and at times w both both arms to crack bolts with safety glasses on from fear of shattering the breaker bar ! I swear I would give it 10 stars if I could. I named it Beast Bar

This is a heavy duty, and I do mean "heavy" duty breaker bar. It is solid steel and extremely sturdy and strong. The swivel head that goes from right angles to the bar, to any angle you may need, is nice touch and allows you to maneuver the bar into areas that might otherwise be too restrictive to reach. The ball bearing on the bar head keeps the sockets securely locked on. I had some rusted nuts that could not be budged even with a 1/2 inch socket wrench, but this was able to remove those with ease. The only improvement I could want, and why I gave it four stars rather than five, is the bar itself. The bar is completely smooth, rather than having a "handle" shape on the end of the bar- which would allow you to exert greater force without the risk of your hand slipping down along or off the end of the shaft. I have not had the need for this advantage as yet, but the greater the force needed to be applied would make a gripping handle on the end of the bar necessary in some cases. A breaker bar of this quality, heavy and solid, with a rotating, ball bearing head, would be "complete" with that handle at the end of the bar, for those times when excessive force does need to be applied. Otherwise, this is a nice, all around heavy duty, solid maneuverable bar that would meet most needs and expectations. A great addition to any tool set

The first job I used this on was six RUSTY bolts from a 20+ year old catalytic converter, and it broke them with ease. Great tool at a great price.

Can't go wrong and low price

Worth the money.

The angles it achieves helps more then youd think. Not to mention the length of the bar was great for use in wheel wells. Over all very estatic about this purchase. Highly recommend.

For now I still rotate the tires on my vehicles myself and invariably I have a lug nut or two that is stubborn, even if I properly torque them myself. I've taken to using a 20v battery powered impact wrench and it does a good job except for those few subborn instances. This breaker bar is the ticket to keeping the job (and the lug nuts) moving. Proper length and build to put serious torque on anything that just about any ½" drive socket will fit. So functionally good. Appearance-wise just about as good too. Nice finish and looks good in my toolbox drawer if that means anything to you. Recommended!
