Is what it looks like, came in time, added value
I just processed my second batch of meatbirds over the weekend. This time I had 32 Freedom Rangers.I don't think the lung scraper bailed me out or anything, but it definitely ended up having a place in the process. I would insert it with the teeth facing the bones and scrape around the top (the chicken's back) until enough was clear for me to put my hand in there and do the rest. I also used it a bit in situations where most stuff was out but a little bit was still stuck to the ribs.I was afraid of puncturing stuff with it so I didn't do more than that this time.Should you get one? Here's what I'd say:1. If you're already experienced with this stuff, you probably know if you get stuck at this stage or not. If you don't, you probably don't need it. If you do, then it's worth considering.2. If you're not experienced, it might be worth having around to give you another option as you experiment with your technique.Ultimately, if ~$15 is in "impulse buy" territory for you and you think you could use a bit of a boost in the evisceration stage, pick it up and see how it works for you.In terms of "which scraper", this is the only one I've used so I don't know how one might be better than other, but it's hard to imagine any of them being vastly more functional. It's a metal ring with teeth on it. Maybe you want a bigger handle or a plastic handle, or maybe someone can pitch on durability. I dunno.

Works Well
Works well for Chicken, Duck, Turkey. Edges are sharp so be careful when pulling any debris off. Worked extremely well and would buy again. Have had a couple of months now and have not noticed any issues with the item.

Chicken lung remover.
Gave this unit a 4 star as though it works and made very sturdy, I feel in needs to be reshaped like a tear drop to be more effective. Other than that issue, good to go!

Very interesting item
Seen this daughter in law requested things to help do chickens thought this may be useful in cleaning out chickens when she gets to point of butchering them

Works for processing chickens
This worked well for some of the final details of gutting the dozen or so chickens I processed. Have used it on a few more birds since and am happy with the results.

Bloody brilliant tool (literally)
Bought as per a recommendation from many videos and homesteaders on social networks as a “must have” when processing meat chickens. Can confirm after our first round of processing this tool became a staple for removing the lungs, tissue and other unnecessary organs quickly and easily without much of a hassle from inside the birds. Bought 1 to use and wish we had another!
