This is going in my 3D printer enclosure.
Kinda big, but worth the peace of mind for my 3D printer. I'm putting one of these in my 3D printer enclosure just for peace of mind, in case of failure of electronic safeguards. The fuses are activated by combustion, which is good for me because it gets quite warm inside the enclosure. The minimum clearance is also good because the enclosure is somewhat small, too small for the original STFS rangehood device.Keep in mind, this is technically a pyrotechnic device inside a fire extinguisher, so it's going to make a loud "BANG!" if it activates and spreads its powder. One last thing about the size of this--my stove has a microwave range hood, and this is too bulky to fit under there. Unfortunate, but maybe there will be a long, slim version at some point for customers with this kind of setup in their kitchen. For those wondering about freshness, I ordered on Oct 3rd and the product I received is labeled "replace by August 2025"

11/10 would flex on stovetop fires with these mfs again
Classy look, and improved fire suppression than their other awesome model. I can’t afford a commercial grade suppression unit that would only spray water anyways and blow up my kitchen. These joints are affordable asf and will save your family’s life.
