Was a bit worried after finding out that such cables can be bought for 50 odd quidBut after downloading the driver it worked bang on..

Very easy to install
PC says it is installed - but device (car diagnostic tool) I am trying to connect does not seem to be able to find it??Still researching but any advice would be appreciated

Sort of works
Works OK for me IF you employ the driver from the CD. Unfortunately W10 will automatically try to update this and then it will fail. YES you can stop W10 from automatically updating drivers BUT why does a manufacturer issue new drivers - presumably because they are better and should work. I only found out it did not work and the reason because it did not work properly - not that Windows told me.Probably not the last Prolific orientated problem I will see?

Well made USB to serial port adapter / cable.
Ideal for connecting laptop to equipment serial port. Recognised automatically by Windows as COM port.

Did not work with my Garmin.
Does not work for me and I can't seem to find any updated software drivers on their website for this product.
