Bought this to try my hand at cider. Worked perfectly - I attached to a board that I then held in a workbench and the whole thing is super sturdy. No issues and got a really good yield out of the apples.

Sturdily made. I had to drill deeper the holes in the 25 wooden pieces that make up its "cage" to get the screws in. As other reviewers have said, I also had to make up extra pairs of wooden blocks, (7 in x 1.5 in) to a depth of 3 ins so that the press could move far enough without the screwing handle snagging on the top of the cage. I was pressing small eating apples and I had to chop them up fairly finely with a food processor to get any volume of juice. A 12 ltr press takes a lot of chopped small apples.

Great product . Easy to assemble - even though i lost the instructions. Looks great too. Definitely get a pulper to go with it and save yourself some work.

The press works really well as long as the pulp fed into it is sufficiently well broken down. To begin with I found that the wooden press spacers were not sufficiently deep to allow full press so I added a couple of lengths of 100x50 and with these in place the juices flowed out much better

ExcellentArrived on time. Only downside is the stainless steel screws to assemble were missing. Had to chase the supplier to send these on which took a week. Press works very well and just made a batch of cider and it really juiced the apple pulp nicely. Well worth the money. Would recommend

Smaller than it looks, but plenty of room for first timers - just remember to mash you apples before you press them! Fairly straightforward to assemble. Mesh bags work fine. Have extra wood blocks ready to add height to the press.

Es ist ein riesiger Aufwand, mit dem Gerät Weintrauben auszupressen. Auch sind die erste und die zweite Pressung so uneffektiv, dass man eine dritte und vierte Pressung starten muss, damit nicht die Hälfte des Saftes in den Trauben bleibt. Jedes Mal neu aufmachen, durchmischen, zu machen und wieder pressen - viel Arbeit für ein bisschen Saft.Bei Äpfel stelle ich mir das noch viel aufwendiger und ineffektiver vor, da sie ja bedeutend härter sind.
