Great tool for camping
While this likely wouldn’t survive being used like a crow bar, it was a great compact addition to our trip this week. It hooked a couple rocks from under a nearly set up tent, and reached cordage thrown over a branch just out of reach. It’s a little hard to screw together, but well worth the very economical price.

Great for Apartment Living
There is nothing I dislike about this product. For the needs of apartment living, it is the best I've seen. Due to its construction, I wouldn't take it camping but campfires burn and are managed differently than a fireplace fire. For my use, the best feature is the ability to not have to use all 3 pieces; 30" works much better for my space, however, love having the option of being able to increase this length the 46".

Surprisingly sturdy
Despite having to be screwed together, this thing is very sturdy. I'd have thought that there would be some wobble in there, but nope! The only area of concern I have is the poker tip itself. The tip is only riveted on, and does wiggle back and forth slightly. I've used it a few times so far, and it does not appear to have loosened any more than it was.

Too Short for Outdoor Use; Maybe Good Indoors
The 30” Fire Poker is clever and pretty, but best suited for small fires such as an indoor fireplace patio fire pit.I tried using it on a campfire and I didn’t do very well with it. At just 2.5 feet long, the poker didn’t provide suitable distance to protect my knuckles from the radiant heat off the white-hot coal pile. For larger campfires, the hook is essentially useless because hooking logs means reaching beyond the wood – and putting your hands even closer to the flames. Moreover, the handle of the poker is smaller than my normal-sized adult hands. This put my skin in direct contact with the metal poker – which became quite warm to the touch after using it to rebuild a dwindling fire. If you’re going to use this on/in a white-hot coal fire, I recommend using it with leather fireplace/hearth gloves. The construction appears solid enough to withstand lighter-duty use inside fireplaces and portable fire-pits. The hook would be very useful inside of a shallow firebox to pull logs forward. Plus the small sectional design would probably be great to store the poker inside the fireplace between fires. But for large and very hot campfires, I’ll stick with my trusty 5 foot, wooden-handled, V- shaped weed puller from the local hardware store.

light(er) wieght and adjustable fire poker
I really like this fire poker, as it is unique in that it is adjustable, and made of hollow but sturdy material so its also lighter and easier to handle than the old tradional fire pokers...I think made of pure iron that also feel like they weigh a ton. With this...you can go with 2 segments for a normal length, or 3 for a longer length, and you can change it up according to your needs. (so if you go from your normal fireplace, to say an outside bonfire, and you want it to be longer, you just add the 3rd segment, they screw together with ease, but yet stay sturdily together.) This also makes them lighter and more affordable to the buyer. The end piece does feel exactly like a normal fire poker so I think the end piece is Iron or the same as a normal one, its quite heavy on the end, and the grip part has some weight to it as well. They also have an insert where if you email them you get a 3 year extended warrarnty...so its pretty sturdy, and I really like how lightwieght and adjustable it is...compared to the old super-heavy fire pokers. Definitely glad to have it, and its already saving me some trouble with the ease of use...as its way easier to lift and move.

Long and strong
I didn't realize just how long this thing was but that makes it so incredibly useful for outdoor bonfires and firepits. I have a solo stove and use it a lot and have always just saved a longer piece of wood for moving logs around in the fire but in doing so you are much closer to the heat and smoke which is a real pain. I've melted jackets, burned hands and gotten smoke in my eyes while tending the fire. Now, I just grab this long poker and can stand as far away as I need to but still reach in and move things around as needed. It's got a poker side and a little hook which is handy for flipping logs or whatever you need to do.Honestly, this is one of those things that make you say "why didn't I get this sooner" because it makes things that much easier. It screws together in 3 sections which make it easy to stow in the solo stove for transport.

Not a quality item.
Not a solid piece of metal. Bends easily. What can you expect for $10….
