Used it for years. Delighted with the result.

The product seems to do exactly what it is supposed to. Getting the right spread is the hard part and if i'm honest I just guess. I suggest only spreading it when you know rain is coming - if allowed to sit on the surface of the grass it will burn and if you spread too much, it will burn. I had a patch the size of a coffee table where i dropped too much that then took 6-8 weeks to regrow. Spread it thinly and more often (8 week intervals seems to work for me) is my advice, and only ever a day ahead of rain.Be warned, however, if you have (as for all but the small lawns you will need to) used a spreader then clear your surrounding areas thoroughly afterwards - do not allow fertiliser to sit on any kind of paving or after the next rain you will regret it! It contains iron and that will leave rust marks. As it happens I didn't much care when this happened to me because I was planning to replace the patio anyway, but I was treated to a very elaborate spread of rust stains for having not known the above in advance. I use a carefully directed leaf blower to ensure that all the fertiliser that spreader threw up onto my new patio when I was doing the edges is blown back into the grass. I had my new patio built on top of the old one so it raised from the grass surface and I know that the fertiliser is going off the edge - if your patio or path or drive etc is the same level as the lawn then you will likely get rust bleed from the edge of the lawn into the first couple of centimetres of concrete, so be careful.The photos show my front lawn in dark green where it meets my neighbour's - who pays no attention to the condition of grass; my rear with slightly drunken looking stripes, and the previous patio that rusted because I didn't fully clear off the fertiliser.

Wow this stuff is amazing!This is the 2nd year in our new build house and our grass is by far the greenest and most lush. Our neighbour had asked us what we have been using on it as they had tried various things on theirs and it didn’t look nearly as good as ours. They too have started using Proctors and the difference is amazing, it’s as green and thick as ours now.Can’t recommend this highly enough, save your money buying all the stuff that promise thick green lawns and buy Proctors instead, you’ll never go back.

This really is the best lawn feed ever - I’ve never had a lawn looking so lush in colour and cover and the grass growth is second to none. If there’s a fault then it’s only because the lawn now needs mowing twice as often because of how fast the grass is growing during the wet and mild times we are currently experiencing. Forget the products on the shelf at your local garden centres, this really is the best product and is value for money, simple to spread and with terrific end results

I regularly buy this fertiliser as I find that it works well. A single bag will cover my entire garden (around 600 sq m). And the results are visible within a few days. You will need to turn down your spreader as the granules are small , also be careful to use it when rain is forecast as this and other fertilisers can scorch your grass.

I've used this once so far, and the results after a couple of weeks were everything I hoped for. It revived a tired, slightly gappy lawn into a thick, green one that was a pleasure to walk on barefooted. The weather certainly helped, with two weeks of rain after I applied it, and to get the best results I would definitely recommend carefully choosing your timing of when you apply it. The only downsides are the lawn then needed mowing twice a week and what to do with all the additional lawn clippings!

bought this stuff based on recommendation and reviews on here, this stuff made my lawn look amazing, for a few weeks I had the nicest lawn in the neighbourhood.Then came along this fire breathing equator worthy molten weather to ruin every bit of grass in sight!! oh well there's always next year.on a plus note the typical british weather will return at some point and hopefully I can revive what is left.
