Nice coil saves space and makes charging easier !Will stretch a lot but also does have bounce-back if you pull it too hard.Works as described, color is indeed black :)

This cord works great for car play in my car! Only issue is that it is short so I can’t keep my phone in its normal place and have had to adjust to a new dock spot. Super nice that it coils back up though so we never have to deal with tracking down the end of the cord again. Pretty thick cord so it seems like it will hold up well over time! Great cost for 2 cords. I’m happy!

These coiled cables are great but perhaps could be a touch longer.

I discovered that you have to have a specific cord to be able to use the Carplay feature in my car, didn't know that. I have an Apple phone and found these as an option that would work to connect my cell phone to my vehicle. It worked, at first when I plugged my phone into the USB port the Carplay feature did not work, I guess it just needed some time to sync up because it finally did. So very happy especially when wanting to use the mapping features.

I needed a charging cable that would connect my iPhone to the usb plug in the dash of the truck so that CarPlay would work consistently. I unplug and replug my phone multiple times a day as I make many stops. I had tried several “straight” cords and ran into the problem that the cord was too short or would lose its connection or wouldn’t be able to bend from the dash plug to the phone holder or would be too long and flop around in the way of the center divider and gears.I found these coiled cords to solve all of those issues. Long enough to reach, solid enough quality to connect quickly and stay connected, can take the plug/unplug lifestyle, coil keeps it lifted up so it doesn’t drag around the gear shifter, and the dark color makes it appear much tidier.Good value, reliable quality. Would purchase again.

These work ok but the coils wind a little too tight. They will pull a phone back towards the usb port. That is great for some things but not as good if you need it to stay where you sit it while it charges

These are the perfect length for my iPhone in my trucks console. Just right for charging and utilizing CarPlay. Very pleased thus far.
