Fits all my gear
I put a lot of stuff in this bag. I don't think I'll ever go backpacking with it because it holds more than I want to carry anywhere, but it makes for a nice storage location for ALL my photography gear and comes in handy when I travel (by car) somewhere and plan on doing photography, because I have just one bag to grab and put in the car.I can fit my Canon 5D Mark IV, two large zoom lens (70-200mm and 100-400mm lens), a speedlight flash, small tripods, five other prime lenses, a bunch of filters, diffusers, lens cleaning kits, remote triggers, batteries and chargers and my bulky dual macro flash assembly.Lots of space and durable. It was more than I wanted to pay for a bag because there are so many cheap bags out there, but this one is the biggest and made to last, so I'm glad I did.

Nice but not perfect
First, I do understand this is supposed to be primarily aimed at large format photographers. However, the way it is shipped is formatted for medium and 35mm format photographers. First, it seems fairly well made. It is definitely large enough to hold a lot of equipment. I have two complete 35mm DSLR cameras along with all their lenses and multiple flashes packed away in it. The case is very light and does not add a lot of weight and the straps are well designed to help distribute the load. The zippers seem sturdy but are a bit hard to open and close. I would like to see some smaller, closed pockets rather than a couple of large, open pouches, for holding smaller bit parts, such as filters and batteries, etc. Also, at least a couple of elastic Velcro straps to hold camera bodies in place would be nice. The bag is deep enough to hold my zoom lenses standing up. This adds to the capacity. I do recommend this backpack. If you need to carry a lot of equipment and don’t want to haul around multiple cases, this is for you. This would have been a 5 star review if it weren’t for the couple of misses mentioned above.

Just what my 8x10 field camera needed!
At first I wasn't sure my somewhat oversized 8x10 Shen-Hao camera would fit based on the interior dimensions of the bag but my camera fit perfectly. Very good design, quality construction, and plenty of room for many of the things you need in the field. I have a 240mm and a 300mm mounted on Sinar boards, Pentax digital spot, cable releases, focusing loupe, filters, BTZS focusing hood, etc., all neatly fitted into the available space and that doesn't include the two side pouches that will hold a bunch of your other stuff. I am very happy with the extra large f-64 camera backpack!

warning, keep away from this backpack
I used the F.64 backpack for half a year and was pretty happy with it. Very comfortable even with the full gear in it – a 4x5 Shen Hao field camera, four lenses, 4 pouches with film carriers, accessories and a Gitzo tripod. A few weeks ago, I needed to change the configuration of the interior divisions and the seams of the velcro-like material in the inner walls of the backpack started to tear apart in many places, see the photos. The overall quality of the backpack is pretty good, mostly on the outside. On the inside, the lack of quality of the velcro and the weak seamwork, which only has one pass, is a disaster. What’s the point of being able to carry your equipment comfortably when inside the backpack everything is in danger of becoming damaged. I’m very disappointed and it’s too late to ask for a return. I don’t find any address for the brand anywhere to complain about this issue, I hope this review is a good warning, keep away from this backpack.

The best, really the only, large format field backpack
From what I've seen, this is the only bag that really competes in the category of large format field camera bag. For that, it is obviously also the best. It easily fits my 4x5 Speed Graphic, 3 lenses mounted on boards, 20 negative holders and assorted extras, with room to spare. It's designed to hold a tripod on the outside. It's not as comfortable as some modern backpacking packs, but for the price it's comfortable enough. My biggest complaint is that in the large compartment, there are no divider pieces designed as longer, horizontal dividers. I want to be able to put a divider in to perfectly cradle my camera. I've forced a vertical divider as a horizontal divider, but it is too long and bends unpleasantly. All said and done, it's a relief to have a backpack that fits everything I carry in it.

Well made, intended for large format but.....
With a little imagination you can arrange it for many other types, I do not believe this company is still in existence, if they are they are very stealth.Of course anyone in large format photography knows about the f64 group so by name it's obvious who it's intended for. I have three 35mm bodies and some lenses in the top section. Hopefully a medium format and a few lenses will be in the bottom half where I have manuals, cords, timers, flash and other focus screens. It isn't impossibly heavy yet. Thinking of a second one for a Toyo Monorail I have.I only gave four starts for versatility as there is no web pouches anywhere. I had to use a padded amazon bag for holding filters and such in the front external compartment.

Good customer service
The bag arrived missing the chest strap but the owner responded quickly and mailed it. I haven’t had this very long but it holds my 8x10 camera and gear very well. The largest compartment holding the camera is not large enough for any padded dividers. It suits my purposes.
