USB C to Magnetic Adapter for Macbook - Type-C Magnetic Adapter Converter for Magsafe 2 T-Head Straight with PD 100w Power Fast Charging, Compatible with 2013-2015 Macbook Air Pro

The media could not be loaded.  I needed something to draw power from my high output USB-C power bank to my 2015 15inch MacBook Pro. Opted for this after ordering a USB-C to MagSafe cable from eBay that didn’t work. Was skeptical whether this would actually work but so far it works flawlessly!Draws the correct voltage and wattage(60W-80W for my computer) as seen on my usb-c output and istats menu. And I find that this form factor makes a lot more sense for EDC since it effectively cuts you down to needing only one usbc cable.One aspect that could definetly be improved upon is the actual shape of the charger and how strong the magnets are. Both of these factors lets it down somewhat by it being easier to knock out from the charging port than the OEM charger head. However, this is only an issue if you use this on the go like me and is only a minor annoyance, as it actually delivers on what it adverises!

Good idea and would have been really handy allowing me to charge from a USB C power baan, unfortunately mine adaptor did not work either with a USB C power bank or a USB C power wall adaptor. Tried various leads and another Mac Book Air with the same result.

It works, no issues so far.

On our older macbook the cable for the power adapter, which gets yanked out of the power all the time, keeps coming apart.. So this time, instead of having to purchase a whole power adapter that the cable is attached to, I found this hidden gem. So it lets you plug any USB-C in to it and then it can charge that older makbook. So you need a quality cable in order to fast charge, just to be able to transfer the power, and then a power brick to charge it, but most that come with new devices have worked fine for me.

Thank you to the Chinese geniuses who invented this adapter.Here's my scenario - I have a MacBook Pro 2013 that still works, but the charge cable frayed after 5 years - I patched it up using various tapes and mouldable glues from Amazon until now, but it always made me wonder... why did Apple invent a charger with a moulded, non-replaceable wire? I'd have to buy a whole new charger every time the wire casing degraded.So instead of paying that £80 to Apple for a repeat, I put together this solution using replaceable parts, for just £47. Just attached to show that it works.

It's a waste of money. Don't buy!

I’ve plenty of Apple 87w/140w USB-C adapters around the home, but when trying to use my old MacBook Retina, I was confined to using the adapter it came with… which has had its cable turn yellow and looks terrible…. NOT ANY MORE! Finally I can use a 100w USB-C cables and this adapter. I’ve only started using it, recently so I hope it continues to work and I’m only using it on 87w and 240w Apple Adapters

wish I new this existed before I bought a whole MagSafe charger
