This is a fantastic phone holder, especially for the price. Once you get it positioned correctly, it holds the phone very securely and doesn’t move around while driving. There are times when it gets a little loose and needs to be readjusted. It takes both hands to get it back into the right position, so it’s definitely something you need to do while parked rather than while driving. Other than that, I’ve been very happy with it. It’s sturdy, works well, and is a great value for the price.

This little invention is outstanding! It holds phones of multiple sizes very securely in place without any bonding or sticky attachments that could damage your vehicle. Mobility is simple as it's easy to add and remove to any vehicle with air condition vents. Best of all, various size devices can be easily held in place with a quick squeeze of the side mounts and just as easily removable with a single press of a release button on the back side. The mount is also very strong and holds up to various temperatures. For example, in the summer it can become very hot in an enclosed vehicle and this mount holds up when other mounts tend to fail from over exposure to heat. The failure causes the joints or fittings to loosen, which will cause your device to slip from an intended position. Well, that is not a problem with this one. It has stood the test of time as I have used this mount for over a year in extreme environments. In the end, it appears that my family has come to like this product too. Ahem, my wife just took mine! So, I have returned to purchase another one for myself and two more for my daughters. Then I don't have to worry about my daughters taking mine either. Yes, I'm finally thinking ahead, so maybe you should think ahead and get additional copies for your family members. Either way, try one and you'll likely be back for more. It makes a great gift. I highly suggest this product to everyone who needs a mobile device mount for their vehicle.

I purchased this Lisen phone mount with the vent mount and extension arm to locate my phone away from blocking the air vent. I could not get the vent mount to secure tight and the unit is rather bulky. I am not using this mount. Update. Risen contacted me through Amazon and offered to refund my purchase price since I was outside the 30 day return window. Before I accepted the refund offer, I decided to try mounting the unit again. Rather than trying to mount between the vent frame and the vent veins as shown in the adds video, I mounted the phone directly to the vent veins only. This attachment method is working well with the mount feeling secure. This arrangement is working well and I would recommend this phone mount to others.

I had a cup-holder mount and it was always falling apart. No matter how it was turned, to unfasten my phone I had to move the spring part of the holder in the same direction that removes the entire clip from the stem of the mount. Of course, I eventually lost the clip. What a bad idea. And, in a 4-Runner, on my cupholder, MAPS sometines got lost and I would have to hold my phone up to the windshield for a minute to get back MAPS back on track. Also not a good Idea. We're not supposed to be handeling a phone and driving so holding my phone up to the windshield is kinda like flagging down a cop. (The 4-Runner has hand-free phone service, as well as some kind of circuitious navigation but it's always lost.) . So, for about $9 on sale, I though I would try one of these LISEN mounts. It works great ! Really. Easy to attach securely but scratchlessly it to my center AC/heat vent and It is infantly moveable. Swing the arm 360 degrees, in and out, phone up or saideways, and tilt the phone to me or the Boss. If I get bored, I can relocate it anywhere along the center vents, or even over to my side vent if I have nothing better to do.. It is sturdy, quiet, easy to clamp in my S21, and release is simplye by pushing the button on the back. Sooo much better that my previous mount, for a third of the price. It might be the best $9 you ever spent. And still worthwhile,if you have to shell out the $18. (But I always try to avoid paying full price for anything). Enjoy !

It holds my phone well enough even tho its not a iPhone. This was supposed to be for my ma but mine broke and I needed one for work immediately. This was all we had at the time. I've got a Samsung galaxy 22 and like I said it fits my phone well enough. Sometimes I hit the buttons on the side making it go black. But it still fits and hold my phone without dropping it. Unfortunately I did break a couple of vents getting it set up. It happened fast twisted wrong and bam. May have been half my own fault for being so used to my old one.

Purchased in February of 2025. Very solid item. Use it constantly in our 2011 4Runner and 2017 CX5. This unit attaches firmly to vent fins in both cars. I use iPhone for maps programs and streaming music. When traveling I'm constantly rotating device 90 degrees to use phone in portrait and landscape positions. Unit has shown no signs of losing ability to firmly hold desired position despite frequent rotations. It holds firmly where you place it. Initially I had concerns about placement on dash and blocking view of radio face, clock, MPG indicator, and other displays. Didn't take too long to realize the flexibility of this thing and the many, many positions you can place it due to multiple rotational joints. Pricing was fair. If this ever wears out, I will want to buy another.

One issue with this style of holder, is that the swing arm and holder add a fair amount of weight and extends that weight away from the vent, applying quite a bit more leverage on the vent. It may not be as much of an issue on horizontal vents, but the vertical vents on an XC40 will want to swing side-to-side with all that weight. As for the build of this particular holder, my only real gripe is the adjustment for the swing arm - after tightening the knob, there will still be some play in the arm...you have to jiggle it while tightening it down to fully secure it. The position of the release button allows one-handed removal of the phone, but really only works by pinching with your thumb on the screen. The clip for the vent accommodates relatively wide fins and the tabs can be rotated to help with stability or removed to provide more clearance (though rubberized tabs would be much more helpful).

Me pareció un buen soporte para el celular, se ajusta de manera sencilla tanto a las ventilas del auto como al celular. Se ve resistente, del gancho que se ajusta a las ventilas es con lo que he tenido problemas en otros modelos, veremos que tanto aguanta éste. Lo que comentan que puede romper las ventilas si es posible, al menos en mi auto si tuve que ponerlo con mucho cuidado y buscar la forma de meter el gancho (de lado y acomodando las ventilas) ya que al momento de pasar entre las ventilas necesita el mayor espacio posible, pero con mucho cuidado y precaución pudo entrar sin problema.
