I bought these for my grandson's 4 and 8. They are durable and have held up well so far. They light up and make a sound. They retract for easy storage. They love them.

Bought as a gift. Tried it out and found that the function of the "lightsaber" sound effects sound great, noises match to hits made! The light up factor could be a bit better, but can't complain because it was a good value for what it is. Looks a bit cheap, not bad, but does seems durable. Hope it's enjoyed by receiver.

This was a Christmas gift. They positively LOVED it

I searched and searched and searched for these things, but they all had reviews that they broke easily. These ones were cheaper of the same reviews, so I went with them and (wisely) bought an extra pack for when they broke. I did hope they would last a couple weeks at least.2 days! That's all it took! It was a slow motion, pretend sword fight between my husband and son that made one crack off the handle. So annoying.Pros: Kids love the sounds, the lighting up is cool, all kids rated them as SO AWESOME and they were the favorite Christmas toy until they broke. Cheap.Cons: Cheap - so cheap one broke in 2 days in a gentle, pretend sword fight. The piece to attach the swords together is a small nut type piece. If you lose it, you can't put them together, so that's just a really stupid design for a kids toy.Overall: If you go in knowing that you're unlikely to get longevity out of it, it's worth it - if the price stays low, comparatively. It fulfilled my sons wishlist and both boys had a blast with them while they lasted.

I got this toy for my son and he LOVES it! They light up and have sound effects which he thinks is the greatest thing ever. They are pretty sturdy although I would say, as with any toy, that if you hit something super hard a bunch of times it might do some damage to it eventually. Overall the light sabers get two thumbs up from my six year old and I think my husband as well lol.
