This is a pretty lava lamp. Unfortunately the bulb that came with it didn’t work. The filaments were broken so I haven’t been able to see what it looks like yet. Had to order replacement bulbs for it. I think I’ll enjoy it once I get the new bulbs and turn it on. As a side note - I received the replacement bulbs and the lamp works now. It is very pretty and works great. I love watching the movement of the lava in it. It does get very hot so be careful if you buy one.

Such a beautiful lamp. It does take about an hour to "heat up" and get going, but after that it is just perfect. Great value and enjoyment! Get one today.

Update: I recieved a response from JAMBO and they offered to refund me for the replacement bulbs. The bulb is in and the lamp is working perfectly. Very nice lava lamp. Not sure how the lamp looks since the lamp came with a shattered bulb. Now waiting for a new bulb to arrive so we can try it out. Hopefully the new bulbs don’t come shattered too.

I really like it! It does have some flakey bits floating around, looks like maybe bad wax? But there’s also some glitter in the wax so maybe it’s that. But you can’t really notice it much, it’s still a pretty lamp and I enjoy it!

The only good thing about this lava lamp is the picture on the box when it arrives. The first thing I noticed once I pulled it out of the box is the weight. For a lamp, let alone a lava lamp, it is very light. The glass portion itself carries the bulk of the weight making it top heavy— making it almost impossible to find a safe place to actually plug this lamp in. The base is also made of very thin metal and is two separate pieces— meaning it wobbles no matter where you put it. The bulb is relatively easy to reach— as I had to replace the one that was included because it was burnt out before it was even used. Luckily, at the same time that I ordered the lamp I had purchased four additional 30w lava lamp specific bulbs on Amazon for half the price of the actual lava lamp. Unfortunately, two of those bulbs were also burnt out. Now I said it was easy to reach — yes—- but actually getting it out of its socket is another story. As you turn the bulb counter clockwise to release it the entire base of the socket wants to turn with the bulb making it extremely difficult to remove the bulb from the base. At this very moment, I am on the third time trying to change the bulb and it’s been over an hour—- and it won’t budge— the socket just keeps turning and turning. I give up.….and that is why I am here writing this review so that maybe I can prevent at least one person from experiencing the torment that comes from purchasing this lava lamp. I know this is just a review on one lava lamp— but I have two—- and they have both given me the exact same problems from day one. I will not purchase this item ever again— and I will not recommend this item to anyone. Save yourself time, money, and the stress you do not deserve and find a different company or brand for your lava lamp purchase.

I order this for my son and had it delivered to his house and after he set it up he sent me a video and I must say it was awesome it was clear and the wax moved up in blobs and back down when the wax cooled just like the lava lamps I remember as a kid.

Works fine , looks good . If the wax does not flow or stays in a lump at the bottom like mine did just leave it and it will start going again . Took a day b4 it started running properly . Works good now .
