Great packaging but poor product finishing
I have previously bought several cups and mugs from Shay and was really looking forward to owning this new set. Each time there have been minor quality issues that I overlooked but this time it was too severe to let go.The products were received extremely well packaged but once I took a closer look I was disappointed to see that both mugs had their inner lip areas scratched or scraped off for some reason. This exposes the inner porous area of the mug which becomes a breeding ground for moisture and bacteria. I'm returning it since I no longer trust that they will send out a replacement that's free of defects.The brand needs better quality control since this has been a recurrent issue with their products across their entire product range. They have a lot of potential but it's wasted due to a lack of quality control.

The mug has black spots. It doesn't have a microwave safe label. The mug is just plain with black spots.These guys are nicely cheating us! The customer care didn't even bother to check. Please do not buy it.

Ceramic is irregular and there are lumps and bumps. Gray color is also not even. It feels we got the export reject maal.
