Are there insteucrions anywhere? I have a 304b sunsun** A: Remove the intake hose from your 304 & connect it to the top of the pre filter. You will then need to add or purchase a short hose to the side of the pre filter back to the intake of your 304 & your in business. **Q: How do you use 1/2" tubing with this? no adapters were included.** A: Put the hose end in hot water to soften the plastic then the hose will stretch enough to fit. **Q: Do I need to by a hose to connect it to my existing canister filter?** A: Okay this is a 2 part answer. The prefilter does not come with hoses but if you are using this to be placed inline with your main filter the tubing will still fit but you will have to buy 2 hose clamps aluminum or plastic it doesnt really matter since its just to tighten the tubing down to prevent leakage. This is a great pre-filter in my opinion and have it for both my tanks (55 & 20) in order to keep the larger debris from the main filter. Id post a picture of my set up so you can see it but dont have the option. ***There is a similar model but it comes with a pump and tubing but the fittings are a smaller size so it would not work as an inline prefilter.*** Hope this helps **Q: Purchased previously.
