Cole and Janey
This was a very lighthearted book. It wasnāt as laugh out loud funny as the previous two books in the series, but there were definitely some comedic moments. It also tackled some more serious topics with both Cole and Janeyās families. It was definitely entertaining and very low angst.Janey and Cole had such an epic meet cute. I loved how grumpy Cole was and how sunshiny Janey was. It didnāt seem like they would work, but they were perfect for each other. I loved Janeyās ramblings and the way Cole really listened to her. I loved that Cole had no choice but to let Janey in and she became the one person to really see him.Janey and Cole both had difficult relationships with their families, but for vastly different reasons. Janeyās family was just terrible, and I loved that Cole helped her see that she deserved so much more. Cole had an awesome family, but because he had so many loud siblings, he got a little lost in the shuffle. Janey really helped him show his family his true self and I loved her determination to get everyone to see the man she saw in Cole. This was a good grumpy/sunshine story with a short fake boyfriend stint. It was about choosing your family and accepting people as they were. I loved all the different characters and I loved how they all played into Janey and Coleās relationship. The ending just left me feeling so good, it really was a heartwarming story.

Sweet
Cole and Janey's story is heartfelt. I found I couldn't finish it fast enough. I wanted everything for this couple. Janey needed strength and the ability to love herself, while Cole needed to be seen and heard. This couple was the perfect match.

Wholesome
It took me a minute to finish this one. Not because of the story or how it's written, but I've been waist deep in my dark romances that I realized, I didn't finish this one. This book was such a funny and playful adventure of love between a grump and sunshine and reminded me of my husband and I. Of whom I call my Grumpy Lion. This book was a breath of fresh air and I look forward to reading more! 10 ā's

Started out well but dragged on a bit
The book started out well; two strangers, Cole Harrington and Janey Williams, meet at a wilderness cabin, which was accidentally booked by both of them. When Cole learns that Janeyās boyfriend has dumped her, he agrees to be her fake boyfriend and attend her bratty cousinās wedding with her. Itās really a trope Iāve read in several romance novels now. Anyway, thereās an understandable breakup, but then the novel goes on and on about family issues with both her family and his, and to tell you the truth, it gets somewhat monotonous. There are some spicy sex scenes, but they donāt make up for the rest. 2 1/2 stars, 3 at the most.

Good easy read.
The Harrington boys books have been entertaining so far. No big drama or mysteries, just a decent story to spend a little time relaxing. Cole has been the mystery brother whose job the other brothers couldnāt seem to figure out. He was the big, quiet, grumpy one that always seems to be a part of the pack when there are lots of stories for an author to set up. He meets his forever is a typical trope of forced shared space. I always hate the ājust broke with a boyfriend and the same day met mr. foreverā and it is just as stupid here, but if you ignore that part, the story is nice.

SWOON - Cole and Janey are so much fun!
I love a good fake dating trope so I was really excited for this book. I laughed so much throughout this book because of Cole, Janey, and the things they get into. Landish does such a great job of writing characters who are real, imperfect, who have great banter and very interesting adventures throughout the book.Janey is such a sweetheart and Cole is misunderstood. I loved their individual growth, but I loved how they help each other grow and grow together. This is the third in a series - I only read book 1 before this one - and didn't feel like I missed out on too much but I was glad I read book 1 because I got good background story for Cole's family.I was like 40% done with the book and SO MUCH great stuff had happened I was excited to read the rest of the book! Landish packs in the fun, the spice, the banter, and all the good things.

When your weird flags call to each other
This is book 3 in the series and can technically be read as a stand alone, but characters and the main family are in the first 2 books and provide background. I honestly thought I had already read this book and couldnāt figure out why it always said ācurrently readingā on Goodreads. But with book 4 coming out in a week, I doubled checked and sure enough I hadnāt read Coleās story yet. Cole is part of the family in the first 2 books. All brothers, except his twin sister Kayla. Heās a private investigator and heās borrowing a friendās cabin to spy on someone nearby. But, it somehow got double booked with Janey who is supposed to be on a romantic getaway with her boyfriend before heading to a wedding of her cousin. Janey is fresh out of the shower and thinks her boyfriend finally got there when she sees Cole instead. She tries to spray him with bear spray but it falls short. They decide to share the cabin for the week, and you wonāt want to stop turning the pages as Cole and Janey end up being the person the other currently needs. Next up is Kyleās story in book 4!

Coleš
I loved learning more about cole. The last 2 books, he's been the mysterious brother that had almost no connection to his family. I loved learning why and finding out it was a misunderstanding on both sides. Janey was so good for him, and the way he made her realize her worth is seriously swoony.

Wow
So enjoying this series on this family. Cole was always the silent one that no one knew about him. He kept to the shadows. But one Janet brought him out and gave him back his family.Narration was amazing.

Enjoyable Romance
I loved this story with both lead characters definitely going on a journey of discovery about themselves. Janey has been bullied and mistreated by her family all her life and Cole has been the brooding brother of the Harrington family. The lead characters really complement each other and their relationship has real depth. I still find all the Harrington brothers hard to keep straight as their names are too similar, but I'm already looking forward to Kyle's story.
