Review: Amazing cleats, unbelievable step up from generics - I have been biking in "house brand" cycling shoes from the bike store in the strip mall and was having huge trouble clipping into and out of my pedals, to the point where I took one or two falls because I couldn't clip out in time when stopping. Being hugely frustrated, I bought a new pair of bike shoes, not realizing until I arrived that the shoes did not come with cleats! So I bought these cleats, screwed them into my new bike shoes, and started biking. Oh my goodness! What a difference! While my new bike shoes are awesome, these cleats are no less awesome. They clip in and out of the pedals effortlessly, twisting to either the right or the left, but stay snug and firmly attached otherwise. I never knew what a huge difference an inexpensive pair of name brand cleats could make. Guess that's why Shimano is such a respected name in the biking market.

**Q: Is a special pedal wrench a necessity, or can you screw in the bolts with a regular wrench?**
A: You need a 4mm Allen Key Wrench, tighten to 22 inch pounds.

**Q: There are 5 bolt-patterns above, which combo do I order? I have the Shimano dual platform pedals as well, and have the Shimano road shoes: SH-RO78L**
A: I have the bolts for multiple exit.  They fit the Shimano dual platform pedals, they stay secure, but yet are much easier to exit when needed (3-way.. heel swing out, in or up.

**Q: Has anyone used theses cleats with the pd-m747 shimano pedal? if so, how was the experience? if not, are they expected to be compatible?**
A: Yes I have! They work fine - the springs on my pedals are little worn so my shoes slip a bit, but fairly sure again that this is my pedals not the clips.

**Q: If I wear a 42 in the Giro Riela-- what size should I purchase the clips in? Or does one size work for all spinning bikes?**
A: These clips fit most bikes.  However find out what type of bikes your gym has and Google if they are compatible.  I know they work with kiesler and schwin

I wish it came with those squared metal things since my Shimano SH-XC61 does not have that so I cannot screw the cleats directly into the sole of the shoe. Nice quality material, though.
