THIS WAS A GREAT PURCHASE AND EXACTLY WHEN I NEEDED IT. IT WAS NOT DIFFICULT TO INSTALL MOSTLY DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE CEILING AREA THAT IT WAS PLACED, WAS ALREADY GUTTED OUT. THAT WAY I COULD CONNECT THE CEILING HOOKS TO THE RAFTERS MUCH EASIER. A FINISHED CEILING ON THE OTHER HAND, THAT WOULD NOT BE GUTTED, MAY BE A BIT MORE DIFFICULT TO INSTALL. I WOULD PURCHASE AGAIN, IF NEEDED.

It did what it was meant to do for a good little bit... But around the second or third rainfall, it randomly tore where the hose goes into the tarp and we don't really know why... There wasn't an excessive amount of water or weight on it... We just woke up in the morning to water everywhere... It was a quick and easy fix with some ingenuity but was still annoying to deal with

Maybe it was a little tricky getting it secured to the roof, but it really was a godsend. Until we can get the roof fixed there is a major leak in the dining room. We had buckets everywhere and still weren't getting all the leaks. This worked so well to cover a large area and then funnel it to a hose we can put in one bucket. It did take a while to find the secure ceiling structure to get it attached to, but once up it works like a charm.

This is one of those items that I have needed but never knew existed. From a drip on the lanai caused by hurricane winds that can't be repaired until the storm clears to “finding” a spot on the pop-up canopy that didn't get covered well enough with waterproofing spray when a sudden downpour appears during a day at the beach – this will come in handy! I can think of dozens of situations in which having this would have been a game-changer.The entire kit is lightweight but every piece seems durable. I love that it all comes in a pouch that will fit virtually anywhere. I definitely will not forget it when I go camping or on a day trip to the beach but it will otherwise live in my storm preparedness bin. The stitching is tight and uniform and the material is lighter than a canopy and more like a good quality umbrella fabric and completely waterproof. The hooks and paracord are strong and durable with the added bonus of allowing the hanging height to be adjustable to any situation. The included hose is long enough to divert the water away from the area being covered or into a bucket when installed on the average-height ceiling. Overall, I am very pleased with this and highly recommend it.

We'd just sprung a bit of a leak after high winds stripped a few shingles off of the roof. Set this up and it saved me a lot of hassle and a bit of a mess as well. Not a permanent solution, at least it shouldn't be. But until you can get the leak fixed, this is a good fix.
