We had to redo the mortar joints on a chimney. This makes a mess with dust so wear protection and if possible buy a dust collection shroud to hookup to a vacuum. We just wore googles and a respirator. It would take a lot longer to manually chip with a chisel which we had to do with the verticals. The chimney bicks and mortar were pretty weak in some places so pounding on them with a chisel almost felt like it could do more damage than just removing a little. Felt alot better and safer grinding away with this wheel.
