Some want different things out of their case, but here's what I look for:Adds some drop protection, but without adding much bulk or weightHas thin lips to keep the screen and camera protected when I set it downGrippyA bright color so it's easy to see; a unique color so it's easy to sort from others' phonesHides fingerprintsNo cracks, fading or discoloring over timeThis is exactly what I got - well, I'm not sure about how it will hold up over time yet, since I just got it. But even if it only lasts a year, I'd be willing to just buy another one.The red color is really pretty; it's a little dark, but almost looks metallic - it appears very premium to me. (Much better than in the photos). It is not the grippiest case I have ever tried, but being so light and slender and having such a nice, smooth feel while being this grippy is a great trade-off. Same with the drop protection - it's not the best ever, but given how thin and light the case is, I am pleased.

It is very thin and adds just enough lip (to screen and camera bump) to be above glass protectors and I like that.Other cases add 2-3 times more thickness and lip height which makes the case needlessly bulky.The fit is absolutely perfect and inside surface is soft to keep the phone pristine.The caveats are:1. All 3 buttons work no problem but require more force (~ +50%) and power button doesn't audibly "click".2. Outside surface is silk-like and mars easily but most of that marring can be wiped away.Personally, I don't mind the caveats and like the case, especially for the price.Also, when I ordered a second case in Black, it was made on the same mold but was made with a different material. It was more "plasticy" and lacked the soft-touch surface inside.Not sure if it was a one-off or all the different colors made from different materials.

I had a bulky case on my previous phone which made carrying it and handling it a bit of a chore. This one is much sleeker and thinner and what a difference it makes in using the phone, but knowing that I still have a little bit of drop protection.I don't get the complaints about the buttons. they work perfectly fine for me. perhaps those that are complaining need stronger fingers.

I tried three others, including the Spigen. Spigen is definitely nice but this one is even slimmer and feels perfect. I actually thought this was a hardshell that offers minimal drop protection but this is a pliable case that definitely will protect the phone. I will keep another more rugged case for hikes and activities that would demand more protection, but this one is THE case for everyday use.

The power button is stiff and will possibly cause early arthritis. It's thin and light, the color is alright it's not slippery, it has a nice price, but you press the power button often to lock/unlock the phone and it feels awful. That's why I'm returning it and can't recommend it.

Pros:The feel of the case is great. It's rubbery, easy to pick up, and feels great and safe in your hand.Cons:The button covers are weird. They feel like they don't fit the phone just perfectly. As a result, I need to press buttons extra hard to get them to work. Additionally, the usual phone button feedback click is muffled.

I like how easy it is to put on the phone. I've had it a while now and it is holding up quite nicely and protecting my phone!

Fits well and protects from scratches and light bumps. Has a lip on the front to protect the screen and a lip around the camera to protect the camera. Much lighter and thinner than the google case with similar protection.

Après avoir commandé 6 différents modèles (dont la Spigen et l'originale Google) c'est celle que j'ai gardée. Elle est légère, plus fine, plus discrete et glisse moins que les autres...Concernant la protection à voir dans le temps...

Die Hülle ist sehr dünn, ich glaube nicht dass weniger überhaupt möglich ist. Das Pixel 8 rutscht in dieser Hülle weit weniger als ohne Hülle, das war für mich der Hauptgrund eine Hülle zu kaufen. Ich vermute das Glas wäre kratzfest genug für mich, aber es ist mir schon zweimal vom Tisch gerutscht. Die Hülle ist etwas höher als Kamera und Display und geht diese damit leicht vom Tisch.Alles in allem bin ich zufrieden.Negativpunkt: Die Tasten des Pixel 8 sind auch ohne Hülle recht schwergängig, die Hülle hilft nicht das zu verbessern.
