Clairol Root Touch-Up Permanent Hair Dye, 6 Light Brown

Really impressed with this root touch-up. The applicator brush makes it so easy to apply & a little goes a long way. I part my hair with the tail end of the brush and then use the bristles to apply the colour which gives a really neat result. The kit includes everything you need (inc gloves which are inside the instructions). Coverage on greys is excellent and like most permanent dyes I find it develops slightly darker, so going one shade lighter gives a perfect match. I’ve repurchased this several times because it’s quick, reliable and ideal for keeping on top of roots between full colour applications.

I was wrong. The quantity is too small for me. The quality is good.

I have been using this for many years and it is really easy to apply. The colour works well (dark brown) and is perfect for touching up a few greys on dark roots. Word of warning: I can now sadly no longer use it as the last time I did I developed an awful reaction and 5 weeks on my scalp is still itchy. So no matter how used to something you think you are, always, ALWAYS do a patch test

Although I am about to turn 70, I have only a small amount of grey around my front hairline and my short, fine but abundant hair is a dark blonde. I usually have 3 tones of warm highlights put in during the winter but this year it didn't happen, and the greys at my temples really started to annoy me. £75 to have this dealt with at the hairdresser so I carefully read reviews of this product and applied it, leaving it on for 20 minutes rather than 10 to ensure the greys were blended in. I am truly delighted with the result as there is now no discernible grey at all. The tone is very slightly darker than necessary for me so I will use it for 10 minutes next time. An excellent solution at a great price, but do follow the advice to use old towels and clothing in case of staining. One tip which was helpful from my internet researches....apply lip balm generously on your facial skin along the hairline to avoid skin stains too.

Die Farbe lässt sich sehr präzise und sparsam anmischen, sodass man wirklich nur die Menge verwendet, die man braucht. Das Ergebnis wirkt natürlich und weich, nicht blockig oder „aufgemalt“. Weiße Haare werden deutlich abgedeckt, ohne dass der Ansatz hart oder künstlich aussieht. Besonders positiv: • ideal für punktuelles Nachfärben • sparsam im Verbrauch (reicht für viele Anwendungen) • natürliches Ergebnis, auch bei feinem Haar • kein sichtbarer Übergang zum restlichen Haar Einzelne sehr feine Haare können je nach Auftrag minimal heller bleiben, was ich persönlich sogar als Vorteil empfinde, da das Ergebnis dadurch realistisch und nicht maskenhaft wirkt. Ich habe Vorher-/Nachher-Fotos hochgeladen – der Unterschied ist klar zu sehen. Für alle, die nicht ständig komplett färben wollen, sondern gezielt und kontrolliert nachbessern möchten, absolut empfehlenswert.
