Brooks Women's Revel 5 Running Shoe

Many years ago I went to a sporting goods retail store to buy a really good sneaker because I was having trouble walking & standing without causing worse ankle, knee, and hip pain. I also need an orthotic for arch support and to prevent pronating. The rep who took care of me was a runner, and she watched how I walked, then recommended Brooks brand. She gave me 3 different styles to try out with my orthotic. The first one was pretty good, but the second style, the Revel 2, was immediately the best comfort & support I’d ever tried I tried on. I did try on one other which was a good fit, too. But the Revel 2 was hands-down the best shoe I’d ever tried. Over the years I walked an untoward number of steps, both indoors & outdoors. I soon ordered another pair so I could keep one exclusively for inside the house. These have lasted almost forever, the padded collar being really the only sign of wear & tear. They have been through elliptical training, pavement walking, dirt trail walking, winter walking, tai chi, and go on every vacation. I started keeping one pair in the car so I would always have them in case my feet began to hurt in other shoes. When it was finally time to get new ones, the Revel 5 was the most updated incarnation. They were reasonably priced for the quality, but not nearly as well-made as the Revel 2. The fabric & materials of this Revel 5 shoe are lighter and less sturdy. I don’t think these will hold up the way the others did. Thankfully, the fit is just as good!! My 4 stars rating is because the materials are inferior to the Revel 2. But as far as comfort goes, the fit is still 5 stars to me - LOVE THESE SHOES, CANT LIVE WITHOUT THEM!

I LOVE Brooks. They have been my workout/running shoes/work shoes since about 2003. I do not know what went wrong with the insides of these shoes. I bought these March 2023 and by August 2023 I had matching holes worn in the insides. YES, I walk miles a day at work, but none of my other Brooks shoes wore out this way. I have 20 years experience in the fitness field and for the amount of walking I do my shoes should be changed out at 6 months. All of my other Brooks shoes wore out on the outer sole or the in-sole first. Also, I do know which Brooks styles go for my gait. The only reason I left off 1 star was for the unusual wear and tear. The comfort and style were great!

I have knee issues so I am always trying to find a shoe that will accommodate my low arch which effects my knee. This shoe feels good on my foot, but by the end of the day my knee is killing me. Now I must say the weather has been horrible and the rain makes my knee hurt so I am not sure if that is the case or the shoe.

I’m a kindergarten teacher and have plantar fasciitis and these shoes keep my feet happy. They are light weight and feel springy when walking. I don’t care for the neon pink laces but I’ll take comfort over style!

They are literally walking on a cloud! They are super supportive and have helped my plantar fasciitis which is almost impossible unless I'm in orthopedic shoes (it sucks I know!) They are not a killer pair of sexy stilettos however they are amazing to wear till I can get back into those!! I love that I have the only pair of these I've seen they are super fun, I was bummed that I could throw them in the washer but I just wipe them down with a baby wipe and they look great!

These sneakers are awesome. It was suggested that I purchase and I am so happy that I did. They are comfortable beyond belief! I wear them to work out and to run errands, walk my dog and I have never been more comfortable.I have diabetic neuropathy so I have issues and pain in my feet. These make my feet so happy. Will definitely suggest to friends and will definitely buy another pair when I need them.I absolutely love the colors (part of the reason I bought these).

I’m a size 9 women’sI have graceful long toes and skinny anklesAnd relatively flat feet :/These feel fantastic when I do my morning walk/ jog. Plus, I enjoy how the black bottom looks newer for longer. Thought on it for few months before I purchased. I like ASICS usually- glad I tried Brooks.

Loving these Brooks they are my first workout shoes and they're holding up to the hype!

Ich trage seit Jahren nur noch Brooks zum Sport machen. Irgendwann auch für die Arbeit (muss viele stehen, gehen und auch laufen), weil sie qualitativ einfach mit keiner anderen Marke zu vergleichen sind. Sie sitzen wie eine zweite Haut, es staut sich keine Wärme, sie sind belastbar/ robust und dämpfen jeden Schritt.Preis- Leistungsverhältnis absolut in Ordnung.

Comfortable an soft

Brooks must be one of my favorite running shoes 👟. They have a wide toe box 🎁 that's important for wide footed people like myself. I purchased Nike pegasus the older model they were great but now how Nike are today are so narrow for my feet 10 minutes on my feet were killing me. Brooks you are the best.
