There is a lack of clarity about which lead is for the display and which is for the cards reader. Additionally it did not work. Fortunately this had already been solved by another buyer and you have to either trim the socket or plug or prise off the sockets and reverse them to get it to function. Once that is done it seem to work OK but I have yet to sort the software to get its full functionality.

Great little screen for my CNC machine. Didn't have to reverse connectors as mentioned in some of the reviews. Clear, easy to read and a decent price

reflashed my MKS Gen L board with the correct settings/driver for this display, just had to adjust the cables as the MKS Gen L board the connectors are the wrong way around, switched on and my 3d printer has a nice new shiny and bigger screen. I am using Marlin 2.0

100% working after over a month of use, paired with KINGPRINT's MKG Gen V1.4. If you do buy this though make sure you either pull the connector sockets off and flip them around, or force the cables in the wrong way round. A common and known issue with the cloned smart displays, the sockets are put on the board the wrong way round.

The trimpot for contrast on the unit I received was completely shot. It's labeled 103 (10k) but mine reads nearly 20k for most of the rotation going almost immediately to 0 ohms at the bottom. This means essentially it either completely shorts the contrast voltage to ground or doesn't do anything. There's also a random bit of detritus on the backlight behind the screen which is quite noticeable and no easy way to get it out. On the other hand the unit was less than 12 quid, came quickly and it works of a fashion so not 1 star.

The screen works well. The wrong orientation problem stated in the other review seems to have been fixed with my unit.
