Oh, about average. So far, so good, though. The only flaw I found was in one of the alligator clips. Typical Radio Shack style. One was a bit crimped in the clamp. No problem straightening it out, however. Easily replaceable, anyway. The base has a nice weight to it. And little rubber feet. It has been valuable for gluing small parts together. **Q: Can this be mounted to a desk or table?** A: This unit just comes with a weighted base.
