My favorite piece of high-tech outdoor gear!
This mug is brilliant in its simplicity and versatility. For only 3 oz (85 g) you get a beautiful mug to drink from, a pot to boil water in for your dehydrated meals and a measuring cup. No, it doesn’t have measurement scales, but you know a full mug is 600ml so you can easily do the math. With the removable hotlips, and no other plastic parts, you have the capability of heating the mug directly above an open flame, and still drink from it without burning your lips (impossible with double-walled mugs like the Snow Peak Double Wall 450 Cup, so those beauties are just not versatile enough for me). The handles are comfortable but still fold away to make a super compact package. Yes, the handles might get hot if you heat the mug directly above a flame (place them towards the wind to minimize this), but that’s why you always have leather gloves with you in the great outdoors, right? The size of the mug is perfect to fit a small gas canister and stove (I use it with the Kovea Supalite Titanium Stove (60 g) or the Snow Peak Gigapower Manual Stove (87 g)) with room to spare for a small Light My Fire Swedish FireSteel 2.0 and some tea bags (see photos). A complete cooking system for under 13.6 oz (384 g)! The ideal setup to bring on a day hike for a quick hot beverage during breaks, or as a complete ultralight cookset for short camping trips. It’s hard to beat this size and weight when all you need is to boil water for meals and coffee. I do recommend to get the aftermarket lid for it (fourdog.com) if you want maximum efficiency for your boil times, or if you plan to cook real food in it (a lid makes it easier to drain pasta etc.).This is my favorite piece of high-tech, high-quality outdoor gear. The titanium just looks and feels awesome. Highly recommended.

quality titanium mug
large enough to boil water for freeze dried mountain house rations, and also to be used to eat meals in. Mug is durable and lightweight of course, using it to boil water on open flame has not changed its appearance much at all, quality product as expected from Snow Peak.

Love it a lot hotter longer
Excellent metal mug. It can fit a little more then 16oz of liquid it's pretty big. It absolutely keeps your drink warmer/hotter longer. Perfect for coffee or soup. Read the instructions directions off course do not microwave it. It's single wall also. It will serve me well for a life time. When u wash it don't use abrasive anything use gentle sponges. Do not lose the lip protection piece the titanium holds heat very well. It will be almost as hot as the coffee. Don't burn yourself till you get use to using a metal mug/cup it's not ceramic or stoneware. It will also fit inside the snowpeaks 2 piece cooking pots. When I store it I use cardboard bridging the gaps to keep it from making noise and a rubber band to hold in place the lids do not lock. The netting to store it in is loose fit but I'm sure you can improvise if you don't like it. Ziplock string whatever minor gripe. Read about titanium also and it's melting point educate yourself.

Roomy
This coffee cup is so big it didn’t fit inside my cooking pot. That being said, it is roomy and can double as a cooking pot or cup. It was lightweight and the water boiled quickly.

Takes a beating and looks great doing it
Just used this all weekend for my coffee, heating up water, making tea, and as a food dish and it handled everything I threw at it, I mean literally, I was not nice to this thing and it didn't seem to mind at all. It's super light weight and stows away very easily. I've read that this 600 size mug is perfect for storing a gigapower stove and fuel canister so that might be my next purchase. The hotlips cover fits perfectly and is a tight fit, I don't know what that one reviewer is talking about. If I have any complaints, some customers are saying they got a mesh bag with their mug and both of mine that I ordered did not come with the mesh carrying bag, which is a bummer because I would've liked a way to secure the mug and its contents inside my bag.I will be buying a lot more from Snow Peak in the future, that's for sure.

Snow peak quality
Love Snow peak for their quality and design, but they are definitely pricey, I bought this on a deep discount and very happy I did.

Great all around mug.
Light weight, durable and a great size. If you could only carry one item to cook/drink from on a superlight backpacking adventure, you would be hard pressed not to take this with you. Just my opinion.
