Smucker's Natural Chunky Peanut Butter, 26 Ounces (Pack of 6)

I've been buying Smucker's Natural Peanut Butter for years. I've tried other brands, but they tend to be soupy at room temperature and unnaturally smooth, with kind of a "plastic" texture. Smucker's has the taste and texture of ground peanuts, slightly rough even with the creamy variety. Yes, it's kind of a pain to have to mix the peanut solids with the oil that's risen to the top, but that's going to be true of any natural peanut butter, that is, containing nothing but peanuts and salt. I plop three jars' worth into my KitchenAid stand mixer and in seconds the peanut butter is perfectly mixed and ready to be spooned back into the jars. I store them in the fridge and the oil never separates back out. It's actually a bit thick when refrigerated, but still spreadable unless you're making PB&Js with Wonder Bread. If so, you'd better keep a jar at room temp. Here's a tip: Store the jar upside down. It helps keep the oil distributed.The Amazon price for these nice, big jars is exactly the same as the Walmart price, where I usually shopped for it, but with the pandemic and the mask requirements here in New York state, I prefer to shop online as much as I can.The only problem is that Smuckers peanut butter comes in glass jars, which has sometimes resulted in breakage. The 6-jar pack is packed together with no cushioning between them in a cardboard holder and wrapped in plastic, and the jars do jostle against each other a bit. I do wish Amazon would insert some kind of cushion between the jars, even if only some strips of corrugated cardboard. The last time I ordered, two jars were smashed, but Amazon's customer service came through with a replacement shipment of the entire order and told me to keep the unbroken jars! My last order came through in perfect condition, thankfully. Nothing like cleaning up a bunch of broken glass and peanut butter to spoil your day!One really nice thing about ordering this peanut butter from Amazon is that it's one of the food items eligible for EBT. As a retiree on a strict budget, being able to use my EBT benefit really helps me keep my head above water financially. I only wish all food items on Amazon were EBT eligible. I might not have to set foot in a grocery store again!

Awesome taste and only 2 ingredients..Peanuts and salt. No additives or oils. I love it. Will order again and hopefully I get the 26oz jars.

I love this peanut butter. It's the way peanut butter should be. Just peanuts with minimal salt added. I switch it up between chunky and smooth. I like both.Only negative is that there is occasional damage to the jars during shipping. I get a shipment a month. Sometimes one 6-pack. Sometimes two. I'd say one out if every three shipments has been damaged. Each time it has only been one jar. Amazon has been good at rectifying the situation when it occurs.It's also nice that it comes in an individually wrapped box. It makes it so when a jar is broken, it's easy to dispose of the broken jar and peanut butter without any danger of touching the broken glass or getting peanut butter everywhere. Other than wiping peanut butter off of the other jars in the box.Product is great. Other than occasional shipping damage, which it's glass, it's unavoidable, I have no complaints. Amazon has always gone above and beyond in rectifying any damage.

We only buy natural peanut butter as we don't want the added junk, and this consistently has a great flavor. I love that it has two ingredients: peanuts and salt. We've had it delivered via Subscribe and Save for over a year now. Since it is natural you do have to stir it when you open it as the oil naturally separates over time, but that's the nature of real peanut butter. It's a favorite in our house.

Good value, great quality. I love the peanut butter flavor and consistency. The product itself is great at a great price. However, the packaging from amazon is inconsistent. Sometimes it’s packed well with plenty of bubble wrap and other times it shows up and a few jars are shattered. Amazon has been great with refunding when that happens, but it’s inconvenient to be unsure about how much usable peanut butter will show up when you order.

This is THE BEST peanut butter I have found on the market! I eat it almost daily. I like to pour off the excess oil since I don't need the extra fat. I do have to give it an extra stir or two. It is my snack and often my breakfast as it is so good on toast, providing lots of protein. Much richer tasting and more natural than other peanut butter brands. It seems as if I am eating more nuts, than other fillers. I prefer the Chuncky too, since I like the texture and real bites of peanuts. You'll be hooked too if you like peanut butter!

This is a great product. The ingredients are nice and clean. It's in a glass jar, not plastic. No matter what type of plastic it is it still leaches, and it leaches into fats like nut oils more easily, so glass is my go to whenever I can get it. If you're not used to natural peanut butter it can be an adjustment as the oil separates out over time. The easiest method I have found is to use an electric hand mixer with one whisk and set it in the jar and let it mix it for a few minutes (be sure to hold on to that jar like it stole money from you, haha). After that its nice and creamy throughout my use of that jar.
