I actually learned something from this book. I did not electrocute myself this time because I had this nifty handbook of instructions. So glad this book exists!

There were no pictures, charts, graphs, or likewise. It was poorly written and did not cover much ground on the topic at hand. If you are actually interested in learning about electrical wiring; DO NOT GET THIS BOOK!

I really didn't know much about wiring anything so I got this book, But this book could really use some pictures so you would know better what color wires are what, it does go in to great detail about color coding. This book helps with everything you will need to get started with your project I think pictures would help so much.

I bought this book and another to augment my library of electrical books. This book in comparison, seems more like an expanded glossary than a guide for diy home repair practitioners. I gave it two stars because anyone that writes a book and puts it out there should get at least two stars. That said I would probably have returned this one if I had purchased it at a bookstore.The other book had superb photos of the material discussed. I did not have to toggle between the photos on my iPhone and the book to get a clearer picture of the subject.I rarely write reviews but, I would be doing a disservice to any earnest home owner relying on this book for guidance.
