Daily EDC
Went on the hunt for a general tanto bladed EDC pocket knife. I must of went through 25 pages of research to find a sensible priced knife with a good general buy in from the public. I have considered higher priced blades such as Kershaw or Benchmade but just could not justify paying up to $300.Received the product in question and it feels, looks, and opens like the high priced ones! Sharpness is superb, but we’ll see over time. All 3 features of this knife are flawless! The push button feature is smooth, the top notch opener is smooth, and the last double knob (for me) maybe a little more difficult but nevertheless works fine. Not sure if I can say that there is actual G10 armor on the outside, but looks and feel secure, hearty, sturdy. The body of this knife does give speculation to the overall girth per se as the ultimate business end locks up flawlessly but only has a footprint of 1/3 of the total knife. Lockup is tight, sturdy with no slop.I have included my other EDC knife; a Buck folder to illustrate overall size. The knife being reviewed certainly has a lot more surface area in regards to the blade itself but while handling it certainly compliments the entire knife. So, overall I went on a limb on a China model so we’ll see. I don’t think I’ll be down and out if the knife fails as it’s certainly way under to what a Benchmade costs. The nice thing with this purchase is that it comes with a nice fury lined zippered case and plenty of literature. The manufacturer does state a lifetime warranty as well.I’ll recommend for now as it’s a good purchase for the price.Update: after further observations that this folder has the option to re-direct the pocket clip to accommodate an ambidextrous fitting as the knife has tapped inserts to go either side. After 1 week of service that this folder has held up to daily EDC expectations- I’m impressed

This is my 'fancy carry'
This is my 'fancy carry' for special occasions. The button lock is smooth and satisfying, and the blade is razor sharp. Feels solid in hand, and the design is sleek and stylish. Definitely stands out in my collection.

Good quality knife.
This is one of civivi’s best knives. The button lock is firm and requires a good amount of pressure to disengage. The button is positioned very out of the way and its almost impossible to accidentally unlock the blade while using the knife. The opening action is smooth and the overall quality of the knife is great. Worth the money.

Really great knife
I will be honest, I did not expect much from this knife, but I went ahead and bought it based on how it looked and I'm aware of Civivi. This knife really surprised me! There are 3 different ways to open it, it is easy to open close one handed, and is very well made. Also, I put this on a work sharp pro knife sharpener and the edge got unbelievably sharp, and actually held it for a while. This is a great knife and I highly recommend. I was so impressed I bought one of Civivi's damascus blades and even that was a great knife incredibly sharp as well and very beautiful. The Civivi deserves more credit and notability that it has because they really do make great knives.

Great EDC
I bought this for 2 reasons, one I liked the look of it 2 I wanted to see what all the hype was with Civivii knives. At first I wasn't overly impressed, although it was razor sharp with an ultra smooth action. Maybe all the talk had me expecting more or maybe the fact that I'm used to carrying a more robust EDC. Nevertheless I've grown to love it for what it' is a. Light weight, sharp and well built carry knife that you can slip into any pocket no matter the attire

Great just out of box!
Got mine yesterday, came quick. So far a great knife, I love the opening functions, it's smooth, the scales feel great, not to heavy but not to light. The button lock feature is my favorite thing. This is the sharpest out of box knife I've ever got. Shaves hair with no effort. Looks great to! Will definitely buy from this manufacturer again, as long as this one holds up.

Great quality knife at an affordable price
This is my third Civivi knife and I continue to be impressed by the quality and smooth action of this flipper. It has a great fidget factor, fun to snap open and close with the easy to operate push button lock. Solid construction with great ergonomics in the hand. My EDC is a Spyderco Paramilitary 2 but this knife will be added to the rotation.

Great value! Incredible smooth action
I don’t own a protech Malibu but this has to be like 90% of the awesome but for 25% the price. One of civivis best knives in my opinion and very underrated compared to many other popular models. It has great ergos and the combination of the flipper tab and button lock is amazing. It’s super smooth and even more fun being a more full size blade. Only things I don’t love as much about the knife are that the handle is a little on the thick side and I’m not generally a big fan of tanto blade shapes. But overall amazing knife and value!9/10
