These strips are the easiest way to fix ugly peeling roof trim, they're not really specific to the Ford Taurus but they definitely work as that's what I have. The measurements are about 11/16" wide by at least 70" long. There are a lot of questions about whether or not these will fit another model car, being that this is literally just an adhesive black rubber strip the answer is yes so long as what you're covering up is 11/16" or less wide and less than 70" long. Being the Taurus is a full size sedan I imagine this will work on almost any vehicle so long as it's not a wagon or SUV. The materials are excellent quality and these strips have survived Texas summer with no problem, no fading or peeling. Seller is good to go and ships quickly. Installation: 1) Take a strip and before removing the backing from the tape lay it on top of your roof and mark the length you need. 2) Cut the strip to length with scissors or a knife 3) Wipe down your existing strip with rubbing alcohol. 4) Peel the backing from the tape about 1" and press firmly at the start of your trim, then make your way backwards while removing the backing from the tape as you go. Just take your time moving backward to ensure that the strip is applying centered to the trim piece. 5) Repeat on the other side and then you're finished. The entire process takes 5-10 minutes and there's nothing complicated about it. This is the easiest and quickest way to fix ugly roof trim.

This looks as good as the factory strip. Very easy to apply. Will see how it holds up this winter. But for now really like it!
