This phone mount works great and feels substantial. The metal clip element clips to the fold down tray easily and is thin enough to return the tray to the upright secured position with the mount still attached. It struggled to hold on to upper magazine pocket on one of my United flights, but that was because the pocket rim was tapered inward, making it difficult for the clip to get ample purchase on the rim. The adjustability was very good making it easy to find a comfortable viewing angle. Some other viewers complained that it placed the phone a little too close to the face, but I found that to be a good thing as it allowed me to wear my readers in focus with the screen. Overall, I'm quite happy with this mount.

Used on a coach bus for long trip my husband was happy definitely a good travel tool if you are a television watcher

I bought this to hold my phone on the airplane when I watch movies. It’s a little tough to pull the lever around the tray table, but once it’s on, easy to use.

With my phones case on it barely fit. Considering I have a note10+ (big phone) I am glad that it fit. It has been very sturdy and it works well for a number of situations. So far I have used it for counter tops and such around the kitchen when cooking. I have also used it in the car when I was the passenger. Works great in both scenarios. Overall a useful device for a good price.

I like watching movies I have downloaded for flights and was looking for this exact kind of item. It is very well built, however, unless the seat in front of you is a good distance from you, the length on this puts it much too close to your face. I felt like any sort of turbulence we may have had I was in danger hitting this with my face. I wish it articulated more to shorten the distance, and almost get "flat" to the back of the seat. Alas, I may need to find a different solution. If you fly first-class, yep, this is a good find. If you are an economy flyer like myself, may nit be what you are looking for.

I bought this to use on my plane trips overseas. However, now I am using it at my desk also, it keeps my phone very secure. It could be attached almost anywhere and it will not move. I tried attaching it to my monitor and it keeps my phone in view at all times. Furthermore, the phone could be set in any position you may need for comfortable viewing. Great product, a great deal even if you only use it on flights or trains.

Great design for travel. Folds up nicely to be stowed away. Phone is held securely. Will definitely get the full use next time I'm traveling by plane. Currently using it at my desk and in the kitchen to keep recipes within my line of sight. Not just for travel which is a plus!

This phone holder is finally one I can trust to hold my phablet of a phone, with it's case!Most other cases are "shakey" to say the best, but this is SOLID.I love the construction/stability. It is a little "heavy" but not "bulky" if that makes sense.The best part is that with my "wallet" case for my samsung galaxy phone, this still holds it comfortably.I have flown on Spirit, Southwest, AA, Delta, and Frontier all with no issues holding the phone at a decent level in the seat in front of me.Recommended buy for the traveler who can't sleep.
