I have mixed feelings about this candle.
This is one of those purchases that I was excited about just because of the peculiar nature of what it is. My first impression upon opening the package was not good. I just paid $20 plus shipping for a candle that is slight bigger than the small Glade candle you might pick up at a grocery store. Before lighting the candle, I will say that it smelled like I would have expected it to and that it a good thing, it's supposed to smell like books, it smelled like books to me. Upon burning the candle I can say that I was not impressed at first as I thought the scent was a bit weak to say the least. I decided to leave the room for a bit and come back to see if that made a difference. I came back about 30 minutes later and was shocked at how powerful the scent was. I was a little happier with this purchase. Overall, I will say this is a good product. It loses two stars from me due to its cost and size. Some folks may not think $20 for a candle this small is a bad price, but even though I like the product I think it's a bit over priced.

“Doesn’t Smell”
I bought this for my friend. She loved the shape of it but said and I quote, “It doesn’t really have a smell,” which is annoying because I could have bought any candle with this shape and she would have like it. I specially bought it because she loves books. Old and new. I would return it if it wasn’t a gift.

Awesome candle!
I work at an elementary school library and got this for my boss... I LOVE the smell of books and this is a super unique scent and reminiscent of a new book order. Great gift!

Not quite the scent we hoped.
Bought for a friend as a gift. It was great as a novelty but the smell was very chemical and not great.

Beautiful scent; by far my favorite scent from the Book Collection! Love the candle and it smells exactly like a new paperback. Very well packaged, even comes with a little bookmark. Definitely made for book lovers
