The Perfect Clock for Its Purpose
,Easy to set up. Keeps the settings even when power is removed temporarily. Clear announcements, but why is it necessary to announce, "It is <time>"? Just the actual time would have been enough. The display is a nice size, clear and bright. The instructions are comprehensive but not really needed. Having just one button on top makes it easy to use. Couldn't find another talking clock at this price point, with good reviews that only had one button on top, and could be AC powered. No negatives on this purcahse.

Excellent for visually impaired
This is an excellent clock for those that are visually impaired. The audio is very clear and understandable when giving you the time and the date. It proved invaluable for my 93-year-old blind father. He requested a second one for his bedside.

Good for now, but not designed to last
I have a bad habit of losing track of how many times I’ve already pressed snooze, so this talking alarm clock was just what I needed. When you hit the snooze button, it reads the time aloud. I also appreciate the clear display and the easy-to-use settings. There are a couple of things keeping me from giving this a full five stars. 1) You can only snooze twice. After you hit the button a third time, the alarm stops going off until the next day. 2) Most importantly, the year setting only goes up to 2033. So after that point, the clock won’t be able to provide the correct date and day of the week anymore. It’s a bit disappointing to know that this feature will eventually be useless to me.

Well Worth the Cost
I attempted to purchase “button” speaking clocks that were cheating than this one and was supposed to be able to tell the time and date for one of my parent’s who has vision and hearing issues. Each one quit working WHILE I was trying to set it up. I finally went ahead and purchased this clock and it did not disappoint. The audio voice is loud and clear. It was easy to set up and being able to plug-in helped with not draining batteries fast. The display is large and vivid. It is an all around good clock well worth the cost. Now I have to return 3 button clocks that together totaled more than this one purchase. I’m just grateful that I found something that helped with identifying time and dates daily.

Talking Clock- does the job well
This was purchased for our 98 year old parent, who can't see very well and is often confused with what day it is. With this clock and its one single button, she is able to know the time and day/date. As I was looking at the various talking clocks, the two key items for us were a single button to press, and one that spoke clearly and distinctly. this clock fulfilled both of those key requirements. It is also very easy to setup and make adjustments if needed. Having this has helped our parent greatly.

Good if hearing and vision is pretty good
The displayed time is smaller than that of a $10 clock from Walmart. Not impressive at all. The audible time is acceptable. Not impressed.

Perfect talking alarm clock
I just bought this as a gift for an elderly person in my life. It’s perfectly suited for those with low vision, eyesight problems, cataracts or cognitive disorders. The display is super-readable and I like that it has 2 adjustable sound modes: hard of hearing and no hearing problems. The device plugs into the wall, and includes a cable and plug. You can use batteries which is supposed to last 3 weeks per the instructions (have not tried yet). The plastic is a little basic, but seems very sturdy in case it’s knocked over. The set came with clear instructions that made setting up a breeze. Great device and quality!
