mighty beanz
My husband bought this toy for our son who was only three years old at the time. I gave my husband a lecture on being a responsible parent and paying attention to the age requirements on toys and took the toy away. I thought that it was a dumb purchace, because it looked like a boring toy to me, an adult, and was glad to put it up. Now my son is 5 going on 6 and I have recently found the unopened box. Again, I thought to myself "what a dumb toy", but gave it to my son any way. My son loved it so much he played with the little things for 6 hours straight and shared with his [...]sister. They didn't break when they were dropped accidently out of the car and they cried when one got lost at an office I had to stop at for an errand that day. Another thing, the woman working at that office, had never seen them before and went nuts over them too. I was amazed that they amused her, or anyone for that matter, but people like different things. Now I'm on the net looking for more. I think $1 a bean is cheap.

Well my daughter likes them..
The Mighty Beans have various painted faces of animals, people and er...'things'.. as well as jump around (with a little prompting) by what we assume are repelling magnets inside each one. My daughter loves to collect and trade them and they are all the rage in the neighborhood...HOWEVER, I find them a waste of money..another junky collectible (wouldn't even call these tiny wood things a collectible!) that will soon lose it's popularity and be tossed aside like the Ty Beanie Babies which now sit in a dusty pile in the corner of my children's bedrooms. They are way overpriced considering what they are and what they do, and I detest that the female beans have breasts painted on them. If these are made for children, why on EARTH are there breasts..and even breasts with moles for gosh sakes..painted on these beans?!?!?! I protest the whole idea of these toys but reluctantly admit that my daughter has fun with them. Ugh!

Mighty Beans -- Why?
These little beans are cute, yes, but that's about it. They really don't do much and the brochure with ideas for games is a bit absurd. The commercial certainly makes them look like they do a lot more than they do. Even the little ramp you can buy separately is only about 8 inches long and doesn't really make the beans do too much. They just sort of slide down the ramp. Big whoop. My son, age 5, thought they were neat for about 10 minutes. Also, if you think about it, they cost about a buck a bean. If you saw them sold individually, you probably wouldn't be willing to shell out $1 for one. As for collectibility, I think they would only end up being worth something if you had a complete set (think about how much money you would have to spend to get that), or unopened packages and what's the fun in that.

My son is 6 years old and when he heard there was something new he could collect he was very HAPPY. I don't let him have violent toys so this is a great alternative. All of us sit down and play games with them. My daughter even enjoys playing with them. Like I said a great non-violent toy. It is worth the cost and they don't get lost like most little toys.

One of the best toys I've bought;
Hello, everyone! I love Mighty Beanz and you should too. Anyway, down to the review. I own Mighty Beanz, and they are the most durable toy in the world. I trew one on a tile floor,it did not break. And that tile WAS HARD. I rate this five stars beacause, you can collect them and play over 40 games. Portabile, and quite funny people. You can trade your Beanz if somebody you know has Mighty Beanz. Witch trading is fun. And if you have the whole set, you can think that they are real people. Witch that is fun too. But you can step on them. But that hurts. So keep them in a collector's case. Or somewhere.But that's a nother story. But all I can say it is a magnificent toy. Why I rated the education 4 stars beacause you make and create your own games. But that's for the kids who like to think. As surcomstansis go, it is wonderful toy. And what is fun is that you are like on a mission to find the rare glow-in-the dark Beanz. Including the Mighty Moose Bean. Oh yeah, series 1 is haunting your packs!!! They are super rare and they could be in your next pack!!! So what are you whaiting for? Start collecting. Well I gotta ride, See ya(and I do like tracktors! My Dad owns a Takauechi!)'Late
