Without a doubt the best shave I have ever had at home. What more is there to say than that. The build quality is astonishingly great with the weight in the brush to the handle in the razor it just flows perfectly. This is the first time I used one of these and I'm not going to lie I was a little on edge but after a few passes it was great, definitely something that will take time to practice but it's enjoyable to use and with the correct products it was smooth and pleasant shave. I did notice though they include a single razor blade to get you going I already purchased another brand beforehand. There are a very few products that get my five-star approval but this has gone beyond that by far. I love the little details it has with the design and simplicity of the product that delivers a close shave like no other. I would highly recommend this anyone interested in trying out a better shaving ritual that isn't a typical chore. Top tip make sure to have a hot shower and while your washing put your brush in warm water to have the best lather and always use a pre-shave oil too.

If you're used to disposable compact shavers or electric shavers, you will be amazed at the difference switching to this kit makes. This set is a beautifully-crafted set of quality components, which gives you everything you need to get started - just add a good quality shaving soap and an aftershave balm and you're good to go (I use a traditional shaving soap and aftershave balm from Taylor's of Bond Street and they're amazing, but Mühle also makes quality products in those categories). I went for the black and chrome colour scheme for my kit, which looks great in my opinion, somehow managing to look traditional yet modern at the same time. The brush has a sturdy handle and soft bristles, made out of genuine badger hair, which feels excellent when lathering my face. I've used it a few times already and it hasn't lost any hairs so far, which is an encouraging sign of solid construction. The shaver itself is beautiful, precise and holds the razor blade snugly, and providing a very comfortable, close, relaxed shave. The kit comes with a razor blade includes in the box, and additional double-edged steel blades are cheap to source and environmentally friendly. No nicks or cuts at all, just remember not to press it into your skin too hard, hold it at a 30 degree angle, gently move it vertically down with a smooth motion and let the blade do its thing. You'll find that it gives a much closer shave than any electric shaver or disposable compact razor, without irritating the skin. The holder and the lathering cup are made out of strong metal with a shiny chrome finish. Time will tell how well these will hold out, but they do feel sturdy and rust-resistant. Overall, this is an excellent quality set which justifies the price tag. Give yourself or a loved one a real treat and get this, you won't regret it.

Beautiful quality shaving set but the box was scratched and damaged which wasn't ideal seeing as it was a gift

I bought it as a birthday present and it was a total success, the product did look good and steady. It has been 3 months now and my boyfriend swear by it. It is easy to change the blades, quality is top no problem appears whatsoever it still looks 100% new no lost of hairs no rust . Very happy and planning to buy another Muhle set for a family member for Christmas.

I am extremely impressed with the overall aesthetic and build quality of all aspects of this set. I love it. It is my first safety razor and i have found it to be a delight to use. Changing blades is easy, just unscrew the handle. I use Astra blades which are very good, and change every 3 shaves or so. Adapting from a cartridge razor worried me prior to purchase, however by taking a little extra care I have suffered no cuts and am now back up to speed with a very close shave. The dark ash handle's and stainless steel give it a very premium look and feel. It is all very practical, both style and substance, and worthy of the price I paid ~£80. I purchased along with Taylor of Bond street products which it seems to get a long with nicely.

The first thing that struck me when this nifty four-piece shaving set arrived was how good the quality of everything is. The razor and brush feel great in the hand, and both fit nice and snug in the superb stand. My last shave (baby bum smooth after two passes) was with my trusty Muhle R89 and apparently the Rytmo razor uses exactly the same head. Transform shaving from a boring chore to an indulgent pleasure and snaz up your bathroom windowsill into the bargain.

Nach großer Enttäuschung von einer großen Marke für Systemrasierer und den überteuerten Preisen für Rasierklingen habe ich mich nach einigen Informationen für einen Rasierhobel entschieden. (Das war auch die richtige Entscheidung wie sich später heraus stellte) Da hat man erst einmal die große Qual der Wahl, meine Entscheidung fiel schnell auf Mühle und damit man auch gleich los legen kann auf eine ganze Serie, gleich mit Ständer, Schale und Pinsel. (+ Gratis Klinge von Mühle) Der erste Eindruck: Mein erste Gedanke war "Wow das ist das Geld echt wert" die Materialien sind sehr hochwertig verarbeitet, das Material vom Ständer und der Schale ist sehr dick, hier hat die Firma also auf keinen Fall gespart! Auch das Material vom Pinsel und vom Hobel ist sehr hochwertig. Der Pinsel ist weich und es ist sehr angenehm die Seife/Creme/Schaum damit im Gesicht zu verteilen. Die erste Benutzung: Schnell wurde der Pinsel erst einmal im warmen Wasser eingeweicht, Rasierseife lässt sich sehr gut damit aufnehmen (Hängt wohl auch von der Seife ab) die Seife wurde in der Schale aufgeschlagen. Die Schalte hält sich gut in der Hand (Körpergröße 1.93 m und somit etwas größere Hände). Nun ist das Gesicht voller Seife, die Klinge von Mühle ist schon im Hobel drin und ran ans Werk. Der Hobel lässt sich wirklich gut halten, man rutscht nicht mit den Fingern ab o.ä. er erfüllt seinen Zweck! =) !!! Mit einem Systemrasierer konnte ich mich höchstens alle zwei bis drei Tage rasieren, da ich doch eine recht empfindliche Gesichtshaut habe, das auftragen von Parfüm nach der Rasur habe ich sehr oft versucht zu vermeiden, da es ein starkes brennen auf der Haut verursachte. Mit dem Hobel gehört das der Vergangenheit an, ein Hobel ist im allgemeinen gründlicher und schonender zur Gesichtshaut (Darüber hinaus kosten die Klingen nur einen Bruchteil ca. 0,20 - 0,30 Euro und halten fast so lange wie die eines Systemrasierers), beim Parfüm auftragen nach der Rasur bemerke ich keinen Brand mehr, auch habe ich keine Hautirritationen oder Rasurbrand oder ähnliches und kann mich nun jeden Tag rasieren =) Zu der Klinge: Nun bin ich Baff, die Klinge konnte ich doch wirklich 9 mal benutzen ehe ich sie entsorgen musste. Ein Rasurdurchgang = zweifache Benutzung (Erstes mal mit dem Strich, zweites mal gegen den Strich). Leicht blieben zwar ein paar Stoppeln übrig, aber mit der richtigen Technik sind diese auch schnell wieder weg. Von Made in Germany hätte ich mir trotzdem ein bisschen mehr erhofft, ein paar Mitbewerber sind schon besser. Nach der 8. Benutzung bemerkt man ein stumpferes Gefühl. Für 0,26 Euro je Klinge bekommt diese Klinge von mir eine 2+; Punkte Abzug für die stoppeligen Stellen ;) Reinigung: Die Materialien lassen sich sehr gut unter fließendem Wasser reinigen und sehen danach aus wie neu. Das Wasser perlt gut daran ab. Fazit: Bei diesem Produkt macht man gar nichts falsch! Es ist ein klasse Hingucker im Badezimmer, die Qualität der Materialien ist 1a und alles wurde sehr hochwertig Verarbeitet DAS ist Made in Germany ;) Auch als klassisches Männer-Geschenk eine sehr gute Idee. Hätte ich es nicht schon, würde ich mich extrem darüber freuen es geschenkt zu bekommen =)

Direi un rasoio meraviglioso, soprattutto per me che sono un neofita in rasatura con rasoio di sicurezza, impossible tagliarsi e soprattutto una rasatura perfetta e profonda, addirittura si puo raggiungere la rasatura BBS! 👍👍👍👍

La verdad es que me he quedado gratamente sorprendido con este set de afeitado clasico, Al no haber opiniones no terminaba de fiarme. El resultado ha sido un Kit con un gran acabado y de una muy buena terminacion, la maquinilla de afeitado es de lujo y casi imposible hacerse un corte. La Brocha igualmente es super suave y muy agradable a la piel, no deja pelos sueltos y es un lujo su tacto a la piel. El resto es de muy buena manufactura y precioso a la vista. Sin duda lo volveria a comprar.
