Size
These warm, comfortable, and waterproof TideWe boots are some of the best boots I have owned to date. My only thing, and I would even say complaint, is the size. I recommend to order 1 size below your true size. So say your tennis shoe size is a 10, make sure to get an 9 in these boots. Even with medium to thick socks they still seem a little big. The boot shapes to your foot and leg snug even 1 size too big and my foot still doesn't fall out at all even when walking. The outside material is just right. Thick and sturdy enough to withstand the woods, but not too tough that they’re a pain to walk in. The 800g of insulate keeps them warm and comfortable. 10 out of 10 highly recommend. Just remember to order 1 size under your true size!

Warm, well made and good traction.
My trusty "Swamp Walkers" finally wore out two years ago. Last year I replaced them with "The Rut" and they split apart at a seam. So I thought I would give these a try. We got a good snow so I wore them out hunting this morning. These are quite comfortable and warm. I am not sure about the "buy a size smaller" advice I see here though. I wear an 8 and normally buy a 9 in hunting boots to accommodate heavy socks, following reviews here I bought an 8. Though they fit well I think I am going to wish I had a bit more room for my heaviest level of socks. These have great treads and I like how the rubber goes most of the way up but the last 3 inches or so is soft (the hard rubber tops usually cut into my calves). The lug on the heel is a must for me, super easy to step on it and slide your foot out. If I had to suggest one thing, it would be to have "handle" holes in the upper portion to make them every so slightly easier to carry. Based on day one of hunting I am quite happy with these boots.

Good fit
I just received my boots today and although I haven’t tested them yet I just wanted to comment on the size. I typically wear a 9- 9 1/2 shoe size and despite the comments I saw in the review, I went with the 9 since I will be wearing these ice fishing with heavy socks. Not sure I will be able to wear the socks since the boot fit is pretty spot on. I’m afraid if I go up to a 10 they will be way too sloppy so I will stick with the 9’s and wear midweight socks and see how warm they keep my feet. They feel comfortable and I like the lugs on the heal to take the boots off.Updated 1/1/24I just returned from fishing in these boots for the first time and it was 26 degrees and windy with ice starting to form along shore. I wore mid weight wool socks with these boots and could not feel any cold whatsoever. They should be fine for ice fishing but probably won’t be able to wear heavier socks so my feet aren’t too snug. Great boots for the price and would recommend ordering your size if you plan to stay in temps above 20 degrees and size down if you wear a 1/2 size rather than up.

Great boots but sizing is ridiculous!
The boots are great for hunting but I would not suggest them for working all day. They are warm and tough but quite heavy. As far as sizing goes it’s a crapshoot. I ordered a size small after reading reviews but found hem to be way too tight to wear all day. Returned and ordered my true size and they fit pretty loose but with the thicker socks they are more comfortable. I guess it depends on how you prefer them to fit. These boots do weigh quite a bit so walking and working in them all day would be a chore but for a hike to the stand and sitting in them for most of the day they are great. Hope this review helps.

Had to return size 9 for size 11.
These thangs are sweet built well to. Not many seems for ripping so you don’t flood your feet out with water, mud, or whatever else you step in.If you read reviews before purchasing take what you read with a grain of salt and do your own research and follow the sizing chart and go with your normal size and or a size bigger. I read thru a lot of reviews to see about sizing. I know I seen the sizing chart before ordering but lots of reviews say size down one size. Not in my case. If you’re a size 10 don’t go to 9 stay with 10 or go a size bigger for wearing layered socks. I went with 11 because these will be used for hunting and ice fishing.

Warm and comfortable!
Update: after trying on the boots a few more times at home I started to notice foot pain due to being too narrow and 9 is just too small as I am normally a 10. Considering ordering the 10. For now I am going to see if there is a wide out there.I’m the one whose feet are always cold. These boots are perfect for the price. Get the sizing correct. I am usually a 10 wide. Got a 9. With thin socks it fits snug. Even the width is fine. We’ll see if I can use winter socks. But with the warmth i may not need it.Lounging at the end of the day is when my feet freeze the worst. I think lounging around the fire at the end of the day will now be great. Usually my toes are frozen , even with wool socks. But I doubt my feet will be cold again while sitting for hours at a time in these boots.

They do what you want them to.
Wore these on an ice fishing trip to northern Minnesota. I also bought a wool/felt insole for them. It was a great combination. These are WARM, waterproof and comfortable. I would recommend them (and did) to my friends and family. Oh, and they are very well built.

Decent quality and comfortable.
I've used these a lot this past fall/winter and spring. They are pretty durable as my adventures generally take me through many different terrains. They are very comfortable for boots and do an excellent job of keeping your feet a comfortable temperature, not too cold in the winter months, not too hot in the warmer months. They are also somewhat lighter than I expected they would be which makes for a more enjoyable day out in the woods. They are holding up very well with no issues, would recommend.

Damn great boots.
Look here. I despise Chinese products. But Tidewe you won’t get better light weight comfort. I bought the pants jacket boots and gloves. For the boots i do highly recommend getting two pairs. One a perfect size for me is 9 and a size up which for me was 10. Being in ontario canada where weather is unpredictable but always cold except summer it’s impossible to know what you’ll need hunting. Some mild days you will need 1 pair of thick or medium socks and that will be great for your exact size. Other days you’ll need at least two pairs of thick and maybe even a thin to light base sock. Freezing temperatures are not fun. For those days the perfect fit would be too tight and extremely uncomfortable so I really recommend a one up size for those days. Even the one up size is already a damn near perfect fit but it has just enough wiggle room for more layers. The thin insulation is a game changer. I hunt long days sunrise to set in Canada you will never be warm during late season. But you don’t have to freeze and you can be comfortably cold/cool and enjoy the hunting days. I do not know about other Tidewe products but their clothing is top bar and absolutely perfect. As a crossbow still hunter even the size 10 is a perfect Fit for my crossbow stirrup. If their products are as great as everything else I bought it will be definitely worth the buy. Clothing i do recommend getting your exact size but the boots i really recommend two pairs. Unless you are in a consistent temperature place and you know what to expect then one pair should do great. These are not going to be good for early season hunting you will sweat in them but for mid to late season you will not get better. I tried many products spent thousands on top gear over the years and i am absolutely floored and amazed at this company and its product quality. I will not need any other winter gear than Tidewe. Layer up be safe happy hunting or whatever it is you do in the woods and good luck. I honestly cant say anything bad about these products.
