I’m DIYing a witch costume with all sorts of various parts and the maroon color matches the random witch hat I got perfectly. The quality is good for the price. I only wish they had a short person size and a tall person size. I’m short and will likely have to buy some of those strips you iron in and use to shorten curtains as a quick tailoring method.

When I first opened this cloak I thought it was a bit thinner than I had expected. This made me a little nervous thinking it would be easy to tear. But this was quickly put to the test when I accidentally stepped back on it while pulling it over my shoulders and to my surprise it didn't rip or tear at all!! I'm a little over 5' so there was a little bit hanging past my feet. I don't see any loose strings or off seams so this is a well made cloak. It is light weight which is nice because I don't like feeling like a lot of weight is hanging on me. Overall a great cloak for a good price!

This cape is decently made (not the best quality velvet but definitely on par with what you'd get at the costume stores) and works for the purposes of a costume. It has some weight to it, which is great because it needs to fall well in order to function properly, which it does. I got this because one of my kids decided to be a devil for Halloween and I thought this cape would go well with some devil horns and a pitchfork. It does that but it is important to note that it has more of a Little Red Riding Hood vibe than a devil vibe (we got the bright red color). I think this is because of the design of the hood and the shoulder width. My kid is 5'4" and size small - the cape is slipping on her shoulders a bit and it drags on the floor some, so I think it would fit better someone who is at least 5'6"-7" (and wearing some heels) and with broader shoulders/some heft. I am probably going to take the cape opening a bit to make it work better for her but heads up for the smaller sized people out there.

I was actually a bit surprised at the quality of this cloak; it's quite nice for the price point. Has a very soft feel to it, and is a decent weight. I don't think it would provide much warmth during a winter storm, but it's a decent weight nonetheless.I ordered it to use with a Halloween costume, but it's nice enough you could use it for any look.The maroon is a brighter red in person (vs how dark it looked on my computer screen when I ordered it). It's still a pretty crimson red though.I normally wear an XL in women's, and this cloak fits me nicely. I can wrap it completely around myself. I'm 5'4" and it drags on the floor a bit, but that's the look I'm going for.I'm pretty happy with this, and could recommend it if you're looking for a nice, affordable cloak.

This cloak is surprisingly well made. I was on the lookout for a well made cloak that would last past a single use and this one seems like it will do just fine.Most cloaks I've found have been made of REALLY light, cheap material that don't look great and don't look like they'll last for one wearing, let alone multiple uses. The material is substantial and the price is surprisingly good. It's obviously not as good as a legitimately made velvet cloak, but this is a GREAT one for the price.The fit is excellent! I'm 5'3 and the length fits me very much like it fits the woman in the promo shots. The color selection that is available for this is awesome, mine is in the 'Maroon' color and it's a gorgeous deep plumb wine tone.If you're trying to be more conscious with your purchases, this is a good cloak purchase that'll last you longer than this Halloween season. The color selection is magnificent so you can def find something up your alley easily. Both the look and feel of it are much more expensive than it actually is. I've very happy with this cloak!

This is not a heavy velvet cape - up close, you're not going to think it's expensive velvet - that said, it is quite attractive and the texture does capture light in a way that suggests a much costlier/heavier material. It's fun to wear and just the thing for Halloween. My only "complaint" - it's too long for me so it will drag the ground if I don't alter it. But I'm only 5' 3" so the good news is it will work well for many much taller people and if you don't mind the extra length, there's some fun drama in sweeping into the room, your cape trailing behind you!

At the price, I wasn't expecting much, but I'm very happy with the Little Adventures maroon costume cloak. It is soft and comfortable, 100% polyester, and the stitching is secure. Most of all, it is actually floor length: I'm 5'9" and without shoes on, the bottom hem just touches the floor. Sure, if you hold it up to the light, you'll see right through the fabric, but it's still dense enough velvety texture that it's mostly opaque while wearing it, especially indoors. It looks more expensive than its price tag, especially the ruching around the neckline. It ships in minimal packaging and includes washing directions (cold water, line dry, low iron). It had a few mild wrinkles from the packaging, but I haven't washed it yet because they fell away after I hung it up overnight. The cloak is "adult one size" so it's not ideal for plus sizes. Still pretty roomy considering the company is aimed primarily at children. I wear women's size 14/16 and although I can pull it closed, the fabric isn't wide enough to stay closed or offer coverage in the front on my body.
