Very smooth and wrinkle-free (unlike me) but probably a better summer than winter sock due to the thinness of the material. Would also be great for diabetics or those with cardio-vascular issues as they are self-supporting with no tight elastication to restrict circulation and they stretch up to the knee if required. All-in-all, a good buy.IMPORTANT UPDATE - After being happy with the quality and performance of my previous order, I ordered another pack of 7. Disappointingly, they were quite different! These were half the length, only covering a little above the ankle and with a tight elastic, which would have left a deep ring around my legs. Also, very dark grey instead of black. returned for a full refund.

Given how expensive bamboo socks can be, at this price I wasn't expecting much, but they are much better than their price lets on. Perfectly good socks, comfortable, and fine. They are not as thick as more expensive socks and it is certainly possible to spend more and get better socks, but these are 90% as good at half the price.
