These are some of the best quality metal stands I've seen out there in terms of design and consistency in their construction across the different sizes. The versatility in the design of the support legs that screw onto the round tops is that you can go with the standard "nesting doll" arrangement or change it up and put the legs on whatever sized diameter fits your needs or circumstances. The quality of the wire "flower" support frame welds is also top-notch with all the welds placed evenly for maximum durability and weight bearing over the long term. The black powder coating provides the anti-rust protection crucial to using these outside and they look great even when not in service supporting a pot. If you do go with the "nesting doll" arrangement of the legs, they store compactly and out of the way when not needed, a huge plus given the number (6) you get in the full set. I'm very impressed with everything about this set from start to finish.

too small and not what i expected

You have to screw all of the legs on so 6x4= 24 legs that are very difficult to get on I had to use a pair of pliers and it was still not easy at all, it just ended up taking the paint off where I used the pliers. Also when finally assembled ( one plant stand,15 minutes later) the legs sit crooked (as pictured..hard to tell in pic but it is a straight on shot that's just how crooked the legs are) so not sure how much weight I actually trust putting on them.
