Lovely toy
We use this toy in our play group and all the children love it bought this for my grandsons first birthday will get many years of pay out of it

My grandsons love it
I bought two of these toys: one each for my two 1 year old grandsons. They both love it and play with it repeatedly. The train, engine driver and especially the track are extremely tough. The train starts when the engine driver is placed in the cab, which is the only educationally aspect of this toy. Overall, everyone is very pleased with this purchase.

DO NOT BUY THIS TRAIN SET
Bought this train set for Christmas for my 18 months old grandson, as the reviews stated that it is a solid product. Was initially disappointed when the product arrived, as it was much smaller than anticipated and nothing seemed to justify its comparatively high price. However, the most important thing is that the train has now BROKEN, it does not move along any more, which was the whole point of the toy. I am very upset, as my grandson has only had this toy since Christmas, therefore it has broken in the space of 1 month. On the strength of my experience, I would strongly recommend that you DO NOT purchase this item, also I found out afterwards that you can get a much better train set a lot cheaper if you shop around. As the train set was purchased a few weeks before Christmas and was only opened at Christmas, we have gone beyond the return policy of 1 month. What a waste of money

I bought this for my son's 2nd birthday - he absolutely loved it. It's been going strong for 7 years and he will still play with it even now. The set is extremely durable and reliable. Highly recommended!

Brilliant train for 1 year olds
My 15 month old son was given this train set for Christmas and he loves it. It's very easy to switch on - you just push the driver's hat, he's sitting on the button so the train starts. It's timed, so it doesn't run on and on. My son loves trying to put little animals in the truck while it's moving. The train has a flashing light and it makes hooting noises. It's very sturdy and well made - and it's well thought out too, I'm sure that he'll enjoy building the track when he's a little older. This is a great first train for toddlers and I'm very glad that his grandparents bought it for him.

Fantastic First Train
This is a fantastic first train for a toddler. Every day our 20 month old son wants this set up and going round! Very durable and well made. Thoroughly recommend this product.
