Realistic recipes from different origins
Bought this for a Christmas gift, and I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of recipes in this book. Most of them have a note about their origin, and what holidays or events they are best utilized for.

SO DELICIOUS!
We've found a few favorites out of this cookbook immediately! I bought it and learned the basic bread recipe in it right around when the pandemic started, and it was such a life saver! There's a wide variety of foods and beverages in this book that make it so you're never going to be asking yourself what you should make. Also gives great magick correspondences and tips. Perfect book to add to your collection or give to your kitchen witch friends!

Great variety of recipes
It doesn't come with the cover shown which I find odd. It seems silly to display a separate cover. However, the inside material is exactly what I wanted. There's a lot of variety when it comes to the recipes and most of them can be easily made. Sometimes the instructions are wonky but I tend to wing it when I cook anyway. Very pleased.

An actual cookbook finally!
Went through many “cookbooks” that delved more into history than actual recipes. I needed the opposite of that and this is an actual cookbook. It will highlight some facts but it will cover many recipes for sabbaths and other holidays.

I wish this came in large print but...
I bought the kindle version so I could adjust the font size that was my compromise. It's a great book overall, I bought it with low expectations and I was surprised by the substantial amount of recipes blended out with general filler and mini tidbits of advice.I think as a person wanting more options for kitchen witchery this book has met or exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to experiment with the recipes :)

Finally a book with a million recipes!
Most kitchen witch books focus more on the witchdry and Magick and spellcrafting part, but this one is a straight up cookbook with so many great recipes that are not difficult to make. This one is a kitchen witch must have. More important than the ones who spend more time telling you just the lore of certain foods and their correspondences etc.. Which I love as much as the next person, but still require a book like for much more...utilitarian purposes. I don't always need to summon something, sometimes I just want a perfectly corresponding dinner to the season! This book does the trick!

Good recipes but outdated, suffers from Llewellyn-syndrome
The recipes are legit! If that were all I were grading this book on it would be 5 stars. Alas, this is also a book on magical practice and aside from element/planetary correspondences, I can't recommend this book for people who are unaware of how old school this book is in witchcraft philosophy. The book suffers from what I like to call "Llewellyn Syndrome": a period of time where the publisher put out just about anything if it had to do with witchcraft without any kind of editing or plain old asking their authors "what are your sources". It also comes from the era where eclectic witches thought it was okay to incorporate belief structures of any world culture they pleased without actually researching that culture beyond "they have a hearth God, they worshipped a bread goddess". So yeah, there is a ton of cultural appropriation going on in this book and some plain old incorrect info. (Hindu gods being labeled as "middle eastern", for example.)Keeping the book for the recipes alone but I recommend a different book if you want actual information on kitchen witchcraft that doesn't encourage inexperienced readers to engage in casual racism/cultural appropriation.

Informativ
A very interesting book, with lot of informations , about festive recipes along time and sourround Globus. With the abundance of informations ,the author let open for everyone to create the own magic in the kitchen and , preparing the recipes . Im sorry to say, i cannot find any magic allong the book. Its informativ, good structure, very good research, but not magic and any rituals that give the prise for magic.I was missing the example of a good chicken soup, when grandma sacrifice a chicken from the only 10 she had in the yard ,and this for the grandchild who was ill with fiever.Slowly cooked on the stove with root vegetables and herbs ,praying for the health of the ill child, the soup made miracles.Such recipes are magic, there is here a sacrifice, the pray and the power of hope that makes all magic. And the microwave....this i find its a no go in a naturist kitchen.

Does exactly what it says on the tin - great book and a must have for all kitchen witches!
Excellent book, and just what I was looking for. Some of the ingredients required are a little difficult to find, but alternatives are suggested. Many of the recipes are quite simple and common foods, but having the extra knowledge as to which of these everyday foods are good for boosting energy, healing, romance etc is certainly helpful. There are a wealth of wonderful foods to make and I personally adored the "Serendipity Cookies". Would definitely recommend for any culinary kitchen witches to be!
