I don't usually review items on the same day I receive them. These bowls are an awesome exception. I needed oven safe bowls for heating food. These are perfect. The first thing that impressed me was the packing. The bowls were packed with obvious care to minimize risk of damage. They are larger than I expected but that's not a problem. I love the sturdiness of the white porcelain and the classic design. They are not too heavy to carry comfortably but don't feel flimsy and easily breakable. I immediately used it in my counter top oven. It heated my food wonderfully but the bowl was not too hot to touch. Inside of the bowl retained heat. I would definitely recommend them.

Heating, storing, eating out of! Many uses! Love it has lids, and handles! Great size. Sturdy.

Good size for a larger individual portion. Made shepherds pie in them. They have a nice glaze so they clean burnt-on food right off. They are solid and have held up so far. Store nicely stacked with the lid turned upside down. Very happy with them overall.

Having well made bowls such as these with lids, GAMECHANGER! From serving soups and stews to individual salads and side dishes out on the patio. Having a lid is a huge plus for outside use, it keeps helps to keep the contents either cool or warm (because it's ceramic) and the bugs won't get in!

It was delivered on time

The media could not be loaded. I wonder why it arrived broken when it was packed well, and the box looked intact and in good shape. Delivery was good too!Scored 3 stars because I did not buy this to receive a broken piece. In my culture, using broken dishes is bad luck!Returning. It is beautiful though, if only it can arrive unbroken.

Sturdy and fits more than a jar of soup !

I live in a very hot climate. In the summertime, I cook in the microwave as much as possible to avoid heating up the house. These bowls work perfect for that. it's so simple to prep the meal and then put each person's portion in a bowl and heat it up. Just what I was looking for.
