I bought this as an extra light in my pickup's rear hardtop. It does have an automatic central interior light that comes on when you open the back window, but I needed more light above the tailgate. Although there is 12V that I could tap into for a conventional LED striplight, I liked the idea of it being removable for hand held use or to move it to another position; it comes with two mounts so I have fixed one on the rear window glass below the high level brake light (in the photo), and the other mount on the side of the hardtop.The lamp is well made and fits securely to the magnetic mount (it stays in position even on rough tracks). The touch button works great, a quick tap to turn on or off, and press and hold to increase / decrease the brightness, with the added bonus that it remembers the last brightness setting when you switch it on. The mounts use 3M double sided adhesive, and along with the two mounts two extra adhesive pads are supplied.Although not specifically designed for vehicles it fits the purpose very well with no wiring required, but it would be equally at home over a kitchen counter or in a wardrobe or cupboard.Very pleased with my purchase. I can't comment on battery life or longevity as I haven't had it long enough, however it charged up quickly the first time, and with occasional use it's still on its first charge.

This light is great. I have a dark space under a kitchen wall unit where the kitchen fitters missed adding a light, so this light is there and it works a treat. It's easy to position and direct the light where needed and easy to charge, but I find the battery lasts a long time.It's so useful I got one for my parents and they love it too.

Amended review: No life in the first purchase on arrival, on charge for 8 hours and achieved 0% charge, tried different lead and charger to no avail. Returned, quickly refunded.As it did look really good and was a high quality build I took a chance and bought a second one hoping it would be fine.. it was! Really easy set up, great light settings from soft to bright white, varying intensity - superb. Giving it a 4 because of the initial issue.

The light comes with two base units, so the light could be used in two different locations, plus two spare adhesive pads. The adhesive is very strong and durable, just peel off the red covering and stick the base unit to the wall. (If the wall is papered, just draw around the base unit and remove paper from where you want it to stick.) My wife uses the light for putting on make up in the bathroom and says it's fantastic. It is located above a heated towel rail but neither the heat or dampness effects the adhesive. The light fits onto a strong magnet and is designed not to slip out of place even if fitted vertically, which ours isn't. The light is easily rechargeable using a separate USB lead, also supplied, but we haven't yet had to recharge it. (Simply remove the light from its base and charge it wherever's convenient.) The dimmer is easy to use and remembers the brightness from the last time it was used.An excellent product which I can highly recommend.

Great light, easy to fit and adjust but the battery calibration is way out. For 17 hours now it’s been on and in all that time it’s reporting it’s constantly saying it’s at 3%

The light is great... that is when it works. It literally needs charged everytime you want to use it. I charge it up, stick it up and come back the next day and the battery is drained and the thing hasn't even been switched on. Also, I paid extra to get the remote control with it and the remote control doesn't work. Waste of money

After what feels like an eternity searching for rechargeable battery LED lights these popped up and seemed way too good to be true.First impressions: solid build and easy to operate. The touch sensor is a little fussy but that might be my fat fingers.I use these in my workshop that has no power so I needed good strong lights to illuminate workspaces. I bought a couple to try out.They come with spare adhesive pads and each lamp comes with two stick on cradles that the lamp bar magnetically attaches to.The cradle allows you to swivel the lamp for better direction of light.The lights output can be dimmed but as I need the brightness I elected to go for 100%However after only a short while of full power the lamp slowly dims. Almost unnoticeable but it keeps getting darker as the battery (rather rapidly) loses charge.I followed the charging instructions and gave it a long charge before use but it still dims.This is a pain in the backside.Brilliant concept but flawed in practice.They work but because they don’t maintain a constant light output I can’t recommend them.

Great price , good strong magnet , tilts really well . Colour change looks fantastic. Easy to use .
