This was an absolute brilliant read, love picking up a book and not being able to put it down, this was certainly one of those books!

Just finished reading it
So i was given the link by a friend and writer Colin Sinclair, this book had me tearful one min at the archetypes the book touched on and other times growling and wanting to punch certain people named Corey .. Now i have nothing bad to say at all, i do however feel disappointment as the last chapter and half built me up and then went all out of character and almost woke , it felt as though the character i invested in, learned about and came to love all the way through the book was spun 90 degrees and left me with a very strange sense of emptiness and unfulfilled, On the whole and for the rest of the book it was at times reading 2 books at the same time and covered a lot of what i come to expect from a good book. I am positive that a very large amount of those who read this book {and i do recommend it } will love it and be enthralled and touched by how the book speaks of and gives you a sense of you have being to all the places talked about and can almost picture them as you touch your mind. Seth and i shared a lot of feelings through the book and they were written in such away that i for the most part understood and could totally relate, All in all a worthwhile read and glad i read it.

Awesome stuff
Awesome stuff. This is the first title I have read by Dean Jones but I understand he has written others. 'Father of Storms' follows a really interesting and unique premise. We follow a man named Seth, who has lived in the past, and we cut between various time zones. This is a well written story and I won't give any spoilers but I highly recommend it for readers who like both their history and their fantasy and don't want to settle on just one!

A good read
Loved the plot of the story. A lot of time jumping in the story, but it was executed perfectly. Mastered the manipulation of one particular characters exceptionally well. And all events came full circle. Really enjoyed

Descriptions of attempted child rape are distastful.
I started off really enjoying this book. The story is compelling and apart from the odd typo is well written. However the author seems to have a problem with women. All the female characters in the book are either damsels to be saved or women to be abused. Several rape scenes, including an attempted rape of 15 year old girl which as a father of young girls I felt was appalling. Not that it could ever justify its inclusion, but the scene did nothing to advance the story and the girl (the main character's daughter) seemed to shrug it off and it wasn't mentioned again in the book. This book really needs some kind of content warning.

Time matters
Father of Storms is a story that ultimately makes you believe that this life has a purpose, meaning and is worth it.Seth's journey takes place through Time and is cleverly crafted.Second book I have read by this author & am delighted he has more titles to be discovered.

Great read. Really recommend the book and you will not put it down once you start reading it. Don’t stop writing Mr Jones and I will now be reading your other books.
