It works
I bought it to make a battery swap so that my RAV4 head unit wouldn't lose its data. I connected it with a power bank. It works well.

Works Great
I bought this because of the countless times I either had to replace any one of the 3 car batteries in our household or just clean the terminals and loosing all our radio presets ect..This memory savers works beautifully and perfectly.

Product Does Not Work
Plugged in OBDII Port and connected to a power bank. 3 Lights turned on and after a few seconds, 2 light indictors remained on (the Power light indicator to the power bank and the power indicator to the vehicle’s battery. Then as instructed, removed the negative terminal from the vehicle battery. Then when checking on the radio and clock settings, the screen flashed, those settings were all gone including the onboard OBDII codes and drive cycle settings. Tried few more times, same thing. This thing didn’t work at all. Do not buy. Too bad, my return window (30 days) had been closed. Wasted of money.

Great when it works
The functionality of this device is heavily dependent on the function of the portable battery used. Some portable batteries shut off after periods of low power draw, while others may shut off when there are peaks in power draw. This may cause power to be interrupted during use that causes memory loss even when this device appears to be functioning initially. May be worth trying with a long cord and a wall adapter, but you lose the portability aspect. But when it’s working it can serve as a convenient option. Test the function of your portable battery before purchasing.

Will keep all the computers hot when you switch out the battery. Saves time reprogramming as well as keeps your codes and module status. Must have if you're changing the battery before a State Vehicle Inspection.
