Onarway Brass Outdoor Threaded Tap Connector 1/2 Inch (21mm) & 3/4 Inch (26.5mm) 2-in-1 Female Threaded Faucet Adapter for Garden Hose

I certainly needed these to replace old worn fittings - albeit the only part that was worn was the washer but with the lockdown I couldn't get washers alone so opted for these. They are very sturdy, perfect fitting and now I have no leak coming out of the tap no matter how high the pressure is. An additional helpful thing is that they come with a 3/4 converter to 1/2 inch size so most UK taps will be covered by these. The additional extra washers are very helpful but WHY only the small washer and not the large one too? If I had the large washer then I could also have repaired my old fitting and kept that as a spare. Seems overtly wasteful to design the packaging such that the buyer is motivated to throw away the old fitting. Hopefully I will not be needing a replacement any time soon but if I did I would order these again.As regards value for money - well its a double edged sword - in one sense they are overpriced for what they are but factor in that Amazon delivers this to my door and saves me the trip to the shop plus that the quality is defo good - it is worth the ease of purchase and should be lasting me a good few years (at least)

Bought for my outside tap, great product.

I can't fault the product itself. It's well built, comes with all the rubber washers and appears to be bang on the size it purports to be. There are two connectors in the package.However, these simply don't fit my male threaded internal faucet. The female thread on the connecter is not fine enough to screw on to my faucet. One would assume that diameter size and thread size are going to be key reasons these don't fit. A more intuitive description might have helped a numpty like me and prevented an unnecessary purchase.Rather than return these as their relative low cost isn't worth the hassle, I've used one connector on my outside tap (where it fits perfectly) to replace the plastic Hoselock quick fit connector. The brass looks better and seems more robust.But, I will now have to continue my search for an internal faucet connector. My goal is to be able to occasionally have a hot water supply for washing/cleaning outside.

Good quality

Both couplings are well machined, no nicks, burrs or sharp edges left on the parts. The coupling works fine with other very well known and popular hose pipe connectors; a good fit, no leakage. Extra o-rings provided for future replacement if needed. Made from brass they are much tougher than a plastic coupling.

First off, these are well made and fit the outside tap perfectly. Unfortunately they simply do not seem to work with genuine Hozelock fittings. (They should put that in the description) as soon as the tap is turned on they disconnect under pressure.
