How do I determine which size to get?

I got the small ball as it’s the size I was using in physio for my knee. I’m 5’4” tall. I guess it depends what you are using it for.

Yes ball did smell when first delivered - eventually fades.

what size ball for support whilst doing neck shoulder/neck exercises?

You would have to ask your trainer who should advise you. I use the small ball in my Pilates class which was advised for my class. Hope this helps
