Bought this light to illuminate my house sign. Easy to install - just 2 screws (provided) leave it for a few days to charge then turn it on. Comes on automatically at dusk. Has 2 settings, one is 'winter mode' so uses less energy to account for there being less sun and therefore charging less. Not a really bright light (the picture shows it in winter mode so I'm assuming it would be brighter in normal mode) but plenty to light up the house number. Went out to check 6 hours later and it's still well lit so really pleased and would recommend.EDIT: light was still on and bright enough to illuminate sign at 7am the next morning after being on from around 4pm. Very impressed!

one stopped working after a week the other stopped working after a month! The light they emit is pathetic too.After complaining to solar centre and requesting a refund, the advise i was given was… ‘“ f you are having problems with your light, it is likely something you can resolve yourself. A solar panel in a poor location will struggle to work well.Double check the installation location, is it in a south facing location?Are there any sources of light tricking the lamp into thinking its still daylight and its stopping the light from activating?Test this by covering the solar panel with a tea towel or similar- ensuring there is no light reaching the panel. If the lamp activates then another source of light is hitting the solar panel, tricking it into making it think its daylight. Remove the source of light or install in a different location.Turn the light off for 3-5 days and leave it to charge in the sun, it may just need a boost.“funnily enough non of this worked! We even charged via the USB! I would rate them zero but you can’t

First and foremost, these are so easy to install. We’ve had ours on our outside wall now for near 6 months with no fault so far. My biggest complaint however, is that they are quite dim even on the brightest setting. In comparison to other outdoor up lights they look like the battery is running low or like they’ve not fully come on. These would be a great addition for a garden or maybe to highlight your door number. Go for them if you don’t mind the dimmer lighting but if you want quite a bold up light these are probably not the ones for you. We are stuck with them but not totally disappointed.

Had this light just outside our front door for a few weeks now (west facing). Looks really good but doesn’t give off much light at all so pretty disappointed. Suppose you get what you pay for!

Both lamps was received having severe defects. It seems that the lamps - especially one of these have been stored soaked in water or has been delivered as a second hand product. The other lamp had a dent in the solar panel. All in all a disappointing experience. Both lamps were returned immediately.Les deux lampes ont été reçues avec de graves défauts. Il semble que les lampes, en particulier l'une d'entre elles, aient été stockées trempées dans l'eau ou aient été livrées comme produit d'occasion. L'autre lampe avait un panneau solaire cabossé. Dans l’ensemble, c’est une expérience décevante. Les deux lampes ont été restituées immédiatement.

Stopped working after 3 months. Do not buy.No option for an exchange or refund after 2 months of purchase.

Purchased two lights for my driveway entry, one light lasted one week the second light failed another week later. Rain water has also entered so called water proof casing.Save your money folks.
