Avoogue Rain Jacket Womens Waterproof with Hood Light Rain Jacket Women Packable

I found the fabric was very thin and stiff. The jacket also had an odd smell to it. It was definitely not what I expected so I returned it.

I have received a number of compliments on this rain jacket. Not only is it cute, it works. It is fully waterproof, even the zipper closure material is waterproof. The description says “breathable waist” but, it is two vents under the arms that open to the waist on each side. The size chart is accurate. I am 5’6”, 119 lbs, and normally wear a size 2 or 4 US. I ordered a Small and it fits perfectly. I can still wear a shirt and cardigan on cooler days and have freedom of movement. You can see in the picture, pockets are really big, 10” tall. The pocket zippers are 5” long. The drawstrings on the waist and hood allow for a more fitted and dressy look.

This waterproof rain jacket with hood is incredibly light weight and easy to pack. It has a nice long back so that you can wear with a backpack without it riding up. The venting under the arms makes this comfortable and breathable. It has comfortable gathered cuffs to keep rain out. The hood completely covers the head and is even deep enough to cover hair when up in a pony tail. This is a great wind breaker rain coat.

Not great quality but does what it's supposed to

This is a wonderful little compact rain jacket! I love that it comes in a little bag and folds up quite small. The patterns avail were nice. I selected the polka dots and they are really nice. The quality of the jacket isn’t super thick but it’s exactly what I need in early fall and early spring in the PNW. It’s great to just keep in your car in case a rain cloud rolls in unexpectedly. This has a nice drawstring around The waist to give extra shape. I wore this to walk the dog the other day and it kept me dry against a misty day.

I wore this in the rain and stayed dry. Pretty much that's what you want a raincoat to do. I'm a women's large top, ordered this in an XL because I wanted to be able to layer and its a little smaller than expected. If you are between sizes, I would size up.

This raincoat definitely came in handy today! I didn't get a lick of water on me! So it definitely repels water. Also, it's lightweight, has large, discreet zipper pockets located on the front of the jacket, and the pattern is nice. I like that it has drawstrings on the hood. It makes for a tighter fit. It also has drawstrings at the waist, but oddly enough the drawstrings are located in the interior of the coat. In addition, there are pockets in the interior of the coat, but the pockets have an opening, so it kind of defeats the purpose, because your items could easily fall out. It's a nice length, and it comes with a matching bag.

I got the 2x because that is the size I wear and there wasn't a larger size offered. The raincoat barely zipped over my hips. So although they are made for women, they are not made for larger hips. I may return this one since I have others that do fit better, but I wanted to get it to keep in my RV because it folds down into a bag. I had no trouble folding it into the bag, even though there are no directions or folding instructions, but since it's a vinyl material, it was easy to fold in quarters then roll and then stuff into the bag. I liked the hood, but the zipper at the neck is very scratchy, and because it was too tight, it was stifling hot. Be sure to order a larger size then you need so it will fit more comfortably over your clothing.
